The butterflies were beautiful and so much information was provided on the different species of butterfly.
Wonderful little sanctuary with lots of stunning butterflies. Unfortunately they did not had the butterfly release on the day we visited which was a shame but overall a good experience. Especially for the children.
Butterflies are my absolute favorite! I love what they represent—change from the inside out! The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary didn’t disappoint! It was a great display of God’s artistry! The “habitat” was beautiful as well. I really like the trivia questions along the paths and the different cultural stories of how the butterfly came to be. We even got to capture them releasing some butterflies into the habitat. Awesome and appropriate for all ages! The only con is I wish the tours were better highlighted. Due to us not knowing when the next one was we ended up not participating which the tour was suggested to us by another family. Of course we could have asked but I think it’s free information that should probably be shared upon check-in. Process was super easy! Didn’t need my voucher at all. They had it already printed and thoroughly organized so it was easy for them to find which made check-in quick and painless. The gift shop was very nice as well. Definitely walked out with a few items purchased!
Many butterflies are very beautiful, and there will be an English guide to introduce the commentary.
Nice place. Butterflies are very beautiful. Highly recommended for family with kids. However, it is very small that spending an hour is more than enough.
A worthwhile activity during the time spent at Kuranda. The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is well laid out, informative and easy to visit.
It is very convenient to enter the park as long as you present your e-ticket. The butterfly park is not very, but there are many kinds of butterflies. There are special blue butterflies in Australia, which are very beautiful. There are also a lot of butterflies. The most pleasant surprise is that there are butterflies staying on people. In the butterfly laboratory, you can see the variety of insects and cockroaches, both large and small. It took us 1.5 hours to leave and it was a great experience.
This is really worth visit. You can easily spend a couple of hours here, viewing all there is to see. There are many butterflies and insects. The beautiful butterflies are flying freely within the huge domes and I've not seen anything like this elsewhere.
