Reviews
Spending a day in Kuranda was both busy and delightful. At the Rainforest Center, I had the chance to take a photo with Koloa, which was a real highlight. Because of the crowds, I decided to skip the Army Duck ride, but that didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, the trip was wonderful and full of memorable moments.
Most of the people in the tour group were older folks, and I originally thought the trip would be boring, but it was surprisingly fun. The cost already included the Kuranda Scenic Railway, which is usually difficult to book for independent travelers. The ride lasted over an hour, and there were photo opportunity stops along the way. The crew on the National Park's amphibious vehicle were very enthusiastic and introduced various aspects of the rainforest along the way. In addition, you can purchase a separate photo session with a koala, and you can also freely interact with kangaroos and take photos with them. The return trip on the Skyrail took 45 minutes, and there were two stations where you could get off, walk around, and take pictures, allowing you to appreciate the rainforest from a completely different perspective, which was very worthwhile. Overall, the itinerary was well-organized and the time allocation was just right.
We embarked on a beautiful train journey, surrounded by stunning scenic views and supported by the lovely staff who took great care of us. Upon arrival at the village, we explored the rich heritage and Aboriginal culture, which was truly fascinating. We then visited the Butterfly Sanctuary,it was absolutely magical. Later, we enjoyed an incredible Aboriginal dance performance that left us in awe. The entire trip was wonderfully organised and truly unforgettable. We loved every moment of
We began the trip with a train ride with beautiful views along the way. When we arrived at the village, we were free to explore the different shops and attractions like the butterfly sanctuary. Then we got to explore the rainforest by truck/boat vehicle and were introduced to the indigineous tribe culture. We also got the chance to interact with some Australian wildlife and the cable car ride at the end gave us really magnificent views.
I write it in Korean so that Koreans can see it better. There are already a lot of English reviews haha. Most native speaking guides in Australia are very pleasant and friendly, like country grandfathers. In case you don't understand English, we hand out a detailed itinerary guide and always check to see if everyone is present. This tour has a limited time and the guide only takes you from Cairns to Kuranda Village, so please keep this in mind when making a reservation. There was a small zoo where animals were raised like wild animals, the indigenous people's performance was surprisingly fun, and the Australian-style meat buffet was also delicious.
Amazing service and maintained good times. Well organised tour. Passing full day with good times. Hotel pick up and drop off services were good. Thanks.
The tour is worth to go as it includes lots itinerary and not too rush. You can see lots butterfly and wildlife. nice experience.
cable car activity was cancelled last minute due to the weather condition but other then everything was great and fun daytrip.
Excellent services with well organised and maintained time table. Lunch was great. Hotel pick up and drop off services were good. Thanks.
Impressed with the activities arranged by the tour. On the day of the tour, the weather was bad, so we had to cancel the Skyrail ride. I accepted this condition, but the bad experience came from the driver more. Because most of the tours in Australia, the driver and the guide are the same person. This time, I got a driver who didn't explain anything. He didn't even introduce the name to the tourists. He only gave them the tour schedule to read by themselves. And finally, when it was time to drive the tourists to their various hotels, he didn't tell us which hotel the stop was, so we didn't get off at our own hotel. When I realized it later, I had to get off at the next hotel. When I got off the car, the driver made a face and sounded dissatisfied. So I didn't feel very impressed with the guide and the pick-up service.
