Reviews
We enjoyed the sumo experience, although the hour-long show dragged a bit in places, especially since most matches last only a few seconds! The explanations of sumo traditions were interesting, but the highlight was watching audience volunteers try wrestling—easily the funniest part! Overall, a fun experience I’d recommend, especially since Kyoto doesn’t host professional sumo tournaments.
great experience to learn about the Sumo culture and be one on one with the sport. highly recommended

Loved the informative background and the fun experience. would definitely do it again. Sumo wrestling is not an easy sport and it was great to see it first hand.
