What to expect
Let's create a one-of-a-kind 100% silk scarf using Kyoto's traditional Hiki-Zome dyeing technique (wide-brush dyeing). Create a warm, handmade piece that blends Japanese and Western styles, and make it truly your own
Observe the process of blending dyes to match the colors with the provided samples (15 min) Dye the canvas using the prepared dyes and create your own original color design (30 min) Experience the traditional Japanese Yuzen dyeing technique known as Hiki-Zome, which allows for beautiful and unique color gradations (45 min)
You will dye a silk scarf measuring 35 cm × 150 cm
Please note that finished items cannot be taken home on the day of the experience. They will be shipped later to your specified address, such as your home (including overseas addresses) or accommodation
