【Kyoto & Nara Historical and Cultural Scenic Day Tour】Arashiyama Scenic Railway & Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine Senbon Torii & Nara Park & Togetsukyo Bridge & Bamboo Grove Path & Kimono Forest (Departing from Osaka or Kyoto)

Our tour guide, Sofia, was incredibly professional and wonderful. She was also very meticulous in explaining the characteristics of each attraction and the meeting times and locations. Most importantly, she was worried that everyone might forget after waking up, so she reminded us three times! 😂🤣 The Nara Arashiyama day trip was super fun, especially feeding the deer. I even learned a new Japanese phrase, "Nai" (meaning "nothing left"), so the deer wouldn't chase me around. Togetsukyo Bridge was beautiful, but the weather was incredibly hot. Luckily, it only started raining heavily halfway through our return trip; otherwise, we would have been soaking wet and wouldn't have enjoyed ourselves as much.

A great and fun tour. Valerie was incredibly nice, informational, fun and helpful. The tour is really worth it. You can see all the spots with the tour which alone would take too much time and public transport (if you're not going with a car). It'd be a good idea to add 1 more hour for Arashiyama since there are a lot of things to see there. Further up the bamboo forest, there is an entrance to a big garden. The fee isn't too much and it's absolutely worth it cos you can spend so so much time exploring here since there are many paths to see and right at the beginning (or after you come back around to the entrance point again) there is a rest stop where you have free teas to try (hot and cold), matcha, cold water and calpis (a drink with lactic acid). You can sit there comfortably, have refills. That was a great experience and there aren't many people there so you can remove yourself from the noise and crowds.

This was my first trip to Japan. My friend mentioned he really wanted to visit Nara to see the deer. We looked at many options and ultimately decided this tour group was the best fit, so we booked it. We chatted a lot with our guide on the bus; he recommended some great food and provided a lot of useful information. Throughout the trip, he was also very kind and informative with his explanations. It was a fantastic trip!

A very nice trip with an excellent guide! Our guide was incredibly friendly, spraying us with water to cool us down in the summer heat, buying us ice jelly to help us cool off, and proactively offering to take photos for us. Their bilingual explanations were detailed, fluent, lively, and engaging. The itinerary was perfectly planned, and the driver was steady, punctual, helped look after us, and assisted with luggage, which was very helpful for first-timers or those who prefer not to plan their own trips. Thank you all for your hard work! It was an unforgettable journey!

Thank you to our lively and humorous tour guide, Oscar, for leading our day trip to Kyoto and Nara. He was very professional and shared in-depth insights into the local culture and history, making it easy for us to understand the cultural significance of Nara and its shrines. It was a wonderful trip, and the driver was also very friendly, helping us retrieve items from our luggage when we stopped. This was very thoughtful for families traveling with seniors and young children. We hope to have the chance to meet Oscar again in the future! Sayonara~

Our tour guide, Rex, was incredibly enthusiastic and responsible. He took us to Arashiyama Station to buy train tickets, fulfilling our wish to ride the scenic train. After we got off, he even waited for us at the intersection, concerned we might get lost. This young man is so passionate and responsible in his work; he definitely deserves high praise!

I truly enjoyed this activity, Fred was super amazing, funny and knowledgeable about everything we did at each stop.

The tour was well organised. Amy was very informative and used a messenger service to communicate with everyone times, recommendations both food and things to do.
