[Late Departure] Relaxed Biei & Furano Highlights Tour from Sapporo

If you want to make the most of a day trip in Hokkaido, I highly recommend this tour! 🤍🩵 It was wonderful to visit Mild Seven Hill, Biei, the free-range dairy farm, Shikisai-no-Oka, Blue Pond, and Shirogane Blue Pond in one day. I especially loved the Blue Pond and Shirogane Blue Pond; they were absolutely stunning. They looked beautiful in photos, but seeing them in person, the color of the water was truly mesmerizing, and it felt like a unique Hokkaido landscape that I'll remember for a long time. My friends and I took many pictures. Our guide, Sei, provided excellent explanations and even helped us with our photos. He meticulously managed the schedule and timing, which made our trip very comfortable. He was kind and created a relaxed atmosphere, making even the travel time enjoyable. Thank you! I joined this tour during my solo trip to Hokkaido, and it was one of the best experiences of my trip. I originally chose the Biei Light-up Tour because I couldn’t book a Furano tour, but it turned out to be an amazing surprise. I was impressed by Blue Pond, the beautiful rolling hills, Shirahige Falls, and the colorful flower fields at Shikisai no Oka. The lavender ice cream was delicious too! A big thank you to our guide, Ms. Wakana, who was sweet, kind and patient throughout the day. She made the tour smooth and enjoyable!

The day trip including lunch to the charming town of Biei covered about 6 attractions. Great value for the price. I really liked the Blue Pond. I truly wouldn't recommend Shikisai-no-Oka in October, there really isn't much to see. Our tour guide, Cinna, was very nice and looked after everyone. Since there were many Korean tourists in this group, there was another lovely Korean guide who was very expressive and spoke a lot. Even though I didn't understand what she was saying, she kept waving both hands goodbye as she saw us off. Both guides took good care of everyone, helped take photos, and introduced each spot. The only area for improvement is that when first contacting tour members, the email sent a WhatsApp link. With so many scams nowadays, I don't click on links like that. Although I missed out on a lot of pre-trip information, I arrived at the meeting point about 20 minutes early on the day of departure. This is a fast-paced yet efficient way to see most of Biei's attractions in a single day. Personally, I love the town of Biei for its peace and tranquility.

We booked this tour for a more relaxed itinerary and hoped to avoid the crowds. it is a “hurry up and look” tour but I felt like I had enough time to see, photograph, and film everything. We also had a few stops along the way for breaks. It’s worth heading outside of Sapporo to see the countryside. just looking out the bus windows is part of the adventure! Our guides were so friendly and attentive helping us find the best spots to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately our bus had a mechanical issue (a first for everyone, including the tour guides) who scrambled to make sure we all made it back to Sapporo (via train) safe and sound. I bring this up only to let you know you’re in good hands for anything that can happen. thanks to Baku and team!

Super chill tour with a really nice guide and clear communication! Loved the late departure since it felt way more relaxed than other tours. Everything was easy, no rush at all. Luch spot the guide introducded us is nice as she pre-ordered the meal for us and save the wait time. The Blue Pond night view and the light up tree was sooo pretty, def the highlight!

I went on the Biei Signature Tour with my family and I am very satisfied 🙂 Since it started at 9:30 AM, we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out.
