Review for: One-day tour (including Blue Cave boat ticket)

This tour is highly recommended for those who want to visit multiple locations efficiently and are looking for overall satisfaction. Although the weather was good on the day of the tour, the only disappointment was that the entrance to Cape Kamui was closed due to strong winds. However, it's still a spot where you can enjoy magnificent scenery. For sightseeing in Otaru, you'll need to walk a bit from the drop-off point to the main street where attractions like the Music Box Museum are located, so if you're taking a cruise, you'll need to move quickly. If you have specific shops you want to see or foods you want to try, it's helpful to mark them in advance for efficient sightseeing. The Blue Cave Cruise allowed us to experience nature, and we're glad we participated. It was hot, but the sea breeze made for a very pleasant cruise experience. At Shiroi Koibito Park, I felt that 40 minutes wasn't quite enough time to fully explore, but it was a spot where we could experience the world and atmosphere of Shiroi Koibito. Additionally, in addition to the tour being available in English and Chinese, our tour guide, Hong, made an effort to speak multiple languages to accommodate tourists and was a wonderfully considerate guide. Thank you very much.

I had a fantastic time on the Hokkaido Otaru: Kamui Cape, Blue Cave & Otaru Canal tour. Our guide, Alisa, was wonderful—so nice and explained everything in both English and Mandarin with such infectious enthusiasm!

Our guide, Xiao Hong, was incredibly thorough in her explanations and even added many extra details. The overall schedule was perfectly arranged, and the attractions we visited were absolutely worth seeing. The scenery was so beautiful; it was my first time experiencing such unique natural landscapes in Japan! The boat ride was also very enjoyable, and even though the staff member's English wasn't perfect, the stunning views more than made up for it. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable experience! Feeding the seagulls was a slight fail, probably because they had already eaten too many shrimp crackers and weren't interested anymore, haha, but it was still fun to get so close to them! Although the weather was a bit cloudy, the ocean water was still gorgeous. I'd love to come back again if I have the chance.

Thank you so much for the wonderful tour today! We were blessed with clear skies and saw so many beautiful sights, which was truly moving. The Blue Grotto tour, in particular, was a lot of fun! All the places we wanted to visit were included, and the schedule went smoothly, making for a very fulfilling sightseeing experience. Kevin's friendly and attentive service created a great atmosphere, and we even enjoyed the travel time. Thanks to Hong's fluent Japanese, we felt completely at ease throughout the tour. Even though it was an English and Chinese tour, they were very attentive to us, and we truly appreciate it. If we have another opportunity, we would love to use your services again!

I wanted to visit Cape Kamui, so I booked a tour. The result was unexpectedly wonderful. I had read reviews saying the Otaru Canal wasn't very interesting, but the tour included a harbor cruise. Seeing Otaru from the sea gave it a completely different feel, and we even got to interact closely with seagulls. The tour guide helped take photos and handled our luggage, introducing us to lots of delicious food and scenic spots along the way. In the evening, we went to Kanieza, which the guide recommended, and it was surprisingly amazing.

Our guide Ms. Li was so energetic and helpful! She gave us a lot of information on the sites we were visiting and she helped us take lots of photos. The places themselves were beautiful and the Otaru Canal area is definitely a place I'll return to for a whole day trip. Great trip all in all!

A very satisfying trip! The itinerary was packed: Cape Kamui (one hour) + Otaru Canal (two hours) + Shiroi Koibito Park (forty minutes). We met at 8 AM and were back in the city by around 5 PM. We were lucky to have great weather and saw the Shakotan Blue! Our guide, Xiao Hong, was very responsible and patient, providing explanations in Chinese, English, and Korean, with great attention to detail. After visiting Shiroi Koibito Park, I left the group early to explore a nearby mall, and Xiao Hong even sent me some special discount coupons, which was incredibly helpful! Kevin, who was also with us, patiently took photos for everyone at Cape Kamui. I highly recommend this tour!

The only downside of the trip was that the boat tour to feed the seagulls was canceled due to unfavorable wind conditions. Cape Kamui was incredibly windy and cold that day, making it difficult to even walk. We could only stay for a short while before heading to the indoor gift shop. We had a generous three hours to explore Otaru. Shiroi Koibito Park had so many tulips in bloom; being surrounded by flowers was delightful. We also had a Taiwanese tour guide on this trip, which made us feel very much at home and added a warm touch to the itinerary.

Hong has only been a tour guide for about half a year, but he is already very capable of sharing insights and fun facts about Hokkaido and the places we visited. He also recommended great photo spots, nice food, and good souvenir shops. He is good with multiple lanagues like Mandarin, English, Japanese, Korean and other dialects. I would also like to compliment Kevin, who was joining for on the job training. He took beautiful photos for everyone during the tour and was very friendly and engaging. I would love to return next winter and would definitely want to join either Hong’s or Kevin’s tour group again.

Cape Kamui has unique terrain and beautiful scenery. We were very lucky that day as the weather was cool, with a gentle breeze and occasional sunshine, allowing us to complete the entire walk. If you don't take the boat, you'll have three hours in Otaru to leisurely shop, eat, or enjoy refreshments at a cafe. If you plan to take the boat, it's best to purchase tickets directly through Klook, as buying them on-site can be twice the price. Shiroi Koibito Park is perfect for taking photos and buying exclusive merchandise. We had a wonderful day thanks to our guide Lee's friendly service.
