Ghibli Park Ticket in Aichi

Great and nice for Ghibli fans for sure. I was there in August,2026. Summer in Japan is very hot and exhausted. Ghibli always amazed me. Worthy every single yen. I recommend to buy premium ticket for go inside because you no need to pay more again in extra. I planed to go there early in morning. So I got all the places in Ghibli park.

If you're a fan of Hayao Miyazaki, Ghibli Park is an absolute must-see. It features many famous scenes from Miyazaki's animated films, making it truly worth visiting again and again. However, many guides out there are inaccurate. For those who purchased standard tickets, don't be too disappointed, because standard tickets still grant access to Ghibli's Grand Warehouse and Mononoke Village. There are three attractions that require additional ticket purchases to enter, and Howl's Moving Castle is definitely one you shouldn't miss! You don't necessarily need to arrive at Ghibli's Grand Warehouse first with a standard ticket. If you bought your standard ticket on Klook, you just need to show the QR code; no need to exchange it for a physical ticket. You can book your visit time for Ghibli's Grand Warehouse in advance, as it's a very large area that requires two to three hours to explore, especially with scenes that might have a 45-minute wait. We recommend booking your Grand Warehouse visit for the afternoon, and arriving at Mononoke Village first in the morning. You absolutely must go to the blue food truck in Mononoke Village to purchase tickets for Howl's Moving Castle, as tickets for Howl's Moving Castle are incredibly popular and sell out very quickly. So, remember to visit Mononoke Village first to explore and purchase tickets for Howl's Moving Castle, as well as the other two Witch's Houses! Of course, if you manage to snag a premium ticket on Klook, you won't have to worry, as it grants access to all areas. We wish everyone good luck in getting a premium ticket! 👍🏻

I am a Ghibli Fan but 2 hours train ride and 1 hour bus & connectivity from Osaka was far so be prepared. also note that even though you have the ticket, all rides & dedicated photo spot will cost extra

We LOVED Ghibli Park and would highly recommend getting the premium pass because otherwise you miss out on the best attractions and shops and no guarantees you can upgrade ticket day of. The park is huge but not an insane amount of stuff to see so it is doable to do all areas in a single day with planning if you have some decent fitness however with small kids or if you join some of the longer queues for photo spots or popular snacks then you'd probably want to do this park over 2 days to comfortably see everything and ride the shuttle between areas. We went early and managed to secure the limited edition Heen Plush's which are uber cute but the waits and line are not for the faint of heart, if you want the Heen you need to study and be early (hours before the park opens) and they pause sales during summer to avoid heatstroke incidents due to its popularity.

A scenic spot that you couldn’t miss, especially you are fans of Ghibli. Spent 2 hours in the Ghibli warehouse and lie up for photo-taking and checking out at souvenir shop. Some mini-cafe that you can buy snacks and drinks. Top-up entry ticket is needed for some spots. Watched a 14-min Totoro cartoon at the cinema. Fantastic!

This place is a dream come true for Ghibli fans! It's so big, I couldn't see everything in one visit and will definitely have to go back. Personally, the train ride from Osaka city center took quite a while, but it was totally worth it. The souvenirs and gifts were irresistible; I just had to buy some. If you're planning to go, I highly recommend getting the express pass – it's worth it! You need to book in advance, as tickets go on sale on the 10th of each month. Make sure to read up on more information before you plan your trip.

Had wanted to get the premium ticket but hands not fast enough, so make do with this standard ticket. Even that, I spend a good 6h in the park. The place is rather big, I took the shuttle bus from Mononoke Village to Dondoko Forest and paid additional 400¥ to see Totoro! So the only place I left out is the Hill of Youth.

If you are a true blue Ghibli fan, you will definitely love it. However there are things to take note. You have to book 2 months in advance to get a ticket. Even you can’t get the premium ticket, is not end of world. With standard ticket, you still can cover most of the places. The steps: Buy 2pm Grand Warehouse standard ticket. Reach Ghibil before 9:30am on weekdays. Go directly to Valley of Witches to queue & once you are in. Jog to Howls castle to get the ticket pass. This pass is allow you to buy the Howls castle & other 2 attractions tickets. Do leave Valley of witches before 12noon and go to Mononoke village and by 12:45pm, make your way to Dondoko Forest & buy a ticket. By 1:30-1:40pm. make your way back to Grand Warehouse and once you are in. Catch the show first. You should be able to catch most of the places. Choose your places carefully. If you want to buy merchandise, you have to sarcrifice a few locations. Queues everywhere even photoshoot areas. 😅. Enjoy your Ghibi day!
