Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Nocturnal Tour

I was worried because there were few reviews of the night tour, but it was a fun, small-scale tour. It was a bit disappointing that there was no daytime tour, but the night tour was a unique experience. In particular, the twilight tour allowed me to see animals even when it was bright, killing two birds with one stone.

I'm honestly shocked at how backward the service is in Australia, especially considering tourism is one of its main sources of income. I booked a Friday evening tour, but when I got to the site, I was told it was canceled due to low numbers — and I only found out there. I asked to move it to Saturday and got a confirmation email. But the email didn’t mention the time, so I assumed it would follow the schedule listed on Klook — 6 PM. On the way there, I double-checked the email just in case, and turns out they sent another one around noon on the same day saying the tour actually starts at 4:30 PM. So I missed it. I asked for a refund, but apparently I missed the deadline, so no refund. Is this seriously how Australia makes money from tourism? If you're planning to go, make sure to book on weekends, check your emails constantly, or call their office to confirm everything.
