Budget friendly hotel near the train station.
Good location if you need to take the ferry to Tokushima in the morning.
Nothing special about the room but the breakfast was enjoyable.

Fantastic The staff were very kind and looked after my luggage as I arrived in Wakayama early. The hotel is very close to Wakayamashi station and easy to find. It is also close to the castle and other tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel has rental bicycles which were only 100 Yen which was cheap and convenient. The hotel seems like it needs to be updated as it looks a bit old in places, however it was very clean. It was very good value.

Good location. WiFi very good. Breakfast good. Excellent reception staff. Room very crampted & tiny; thin walls, noisy carpet in room old - including hallway on 4th floor. We were in room 4222.

The price is right. The hotel is old, but the staff keeps the place clean and organized. It is right next to Wakayama Shi Station (Nankai Train), which is ultimately why I choose it.
We stayed here just one night to enjoy sushi in Wakayama, and to catch some sleep before heading to the airport early in the morning. It did the trick! The staff were terrific, and even let us in to the breakfast room early so that we could have a bite before catching our train to the airport.
