National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine

The shrine is open all year, but visiting during ceremonial days like March 29 (Youth Day) and September 3 (Armed Forces Day) offers a unique experience with special commemorative ceremonies led by the President of the Republic of China. For a more comfortable visit, consider going during the cooler months from October to March. The Changing of the Guard ceremony, which takes place hourly from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, is also a highlight.

The shrine is conveniently accessible by public transportation. You can walk west from Dazhi Station on the Taipei Metro, or take a combination of MRT and public buses. From Yuanshan Station, buses #21, #42, #208, #247, #287, or Red 2 will get you there. From Jiantan Station, you can take buses #267, #287, #646, #677, #902, or Red 3. Alternatively, it's just a 15-minute walk from Dazhi MRT Station.
