Fantastic 5.0
We had a great experience and stay at Hub Hotel Banqiao. The location is very convenient and easy to access, especially for places we needed to visit like the MRT station, church, and convenience stores. Special thanks to Sir Wayne at the front desk for assisting us so well. Thank you, Hub Hotel Banqiao!

Fantastic 5.0
The hotel has a fantastic public hot spring bath on the 17th floor, perfect for relaxation, but it only stays open until 10:30 PM. Right across from the hotel, you'll find a lamb hot pot restaurant, a 7-Eleven, and a FamilyMart, which is incredibly convenient. However, walking to the MRT station takes about 8-10 minutes.

Fantastic 5.0
Breakfast: Diverse and delicious Cleanliness: Room was clean Service: Friendly and enthusiastic I stayed for two nights at the Prince Hotel, which is in the same building as the breakfast area and the recreation center. The swimming pool and spa hot springs were excellent, and I enjoyed the mountain views while soaking. The beef noodles, sparerib noodles, cakes, desserts, and truffle flatbread at the cafe and restaurant were all delicious. The chicken soup and lamb soup at the observation cafe on the top floor were also great; I ate there almost every meal. I highly recommend it for a vacation, and I'll definitely go back again.

Fantastic 5.0
we’ll surely be back! hotel location: 30 to 40 mins away from the city. but if you want peace after a long day, this is the best option for you. 💜 breakfast: no served breakfast, but they have free toast bread in the morning + jam and butter! 🍞it doesn’t end there… they also provide free coffee, tea, soup, oatmeal, crackers, and ice cream! this helped us fuel our energy before doing a full day itinerary ☺️ service: 💯 transport access: 5 to 10 mins away from the bus stops. just a short walk with lots of stores in the area, including 7-11 and family mart 👌🏻 cleanliness: room is always clean and the linens smell good 🍃

Fantastic 5.0
Loved our 4days/3nights stay here at Ceasar Park! It is very accessible to public transportation and near train station. Room is spacious and clean. There’s a problem in my bathroom shower and they were very quick to fix it, kudos to their maintenance personnel. Amenities are good too, pool is top notch with a good view of Taipei sunset. Check-in and check-out is seamless too, thanks to the lovely people on Front desk. Would love to stay here again next time!

Fantastic 5.0
This hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the Banqiao Station West Exit. With self-service check-in and check-out, it's possible to complete everything without any interaction with hotel staff. There's a 7-Eleven vending machine on the first floor, so you can do your shopping within the building. Water dispensers are available on each floor. The soundproofing is a bit lacking, so if there's a noisy guest in a nearby room, it can be bothersome. I plan to use this hotel again the next time I visit Taipei.

Fantastic 5.0
It was a fantastic experience. Even though we stayed in a small room, we could still feel how clean and elegant it was. For a hotel by the sea, I think it's excellent. The actual condition of the hotel doesn't differ much from the photos, so I highly recommend staying there. The breakfast was also very rich and varied.

Great 4.0
The staff's attentiveness deserves full marks. I noticed that most of the front desk and breakfast staff at Platinum Garden are middle-aged to older women, and they show more meticulousness, patience, and genuine thoughtfulness than younger staff. Special thanks to Ms. Ruby at breakfast, whose care ensured I had hot tea. The hotel's minor drawbacks are the mattress, which is too soft and lacks support, and the dimly lit bathroom. The breakfast selection is what needs the most improvement; basic hot milk and tea bags were not provided, and the other food items were unremarkable. The fruit was not fresh, especially the watermelon, which tasted off, so I didn't dare eat it.

Fantastic 5.0
The location is relatively inconvenient, but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it's surprisingly manageable even without a car. It's especially close to Nangang. Also, the batting cage noise isn't too bad, as it closes around midnight. The breakfast was delicious, though there were a few too many green peas in the scrambled eggs; many other guests picked them out too, which is a minor drawback. Otherwise, I was very satisfied and would stay here again when there are events in Nangang.

More about New Taipei hotels

Staying in New Taipei: what to expect

Staying in New Taipei stretches from modest economy rooms up to far more indulgent luxury stays, with the top-to-bottom spread roughly 3.8 times apart — enough that upgrading makes a noticeable difference. The best balance for most travellers sits in the premium tier, which delivers stronger value relative to price and comfort.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy options sit at the entry level and are markedly cheaper than the rest, suiting budget-focused travellers or short overnight stays. Standard rooms step up a little in comfort and price, offering a modest upgrade over economy for travellers who want a bit more space. The premium tier represents the sweet spot: it’s the best-value tier and a clear jump in quality that many travellers will find worthwhile. The biggest step in price comes between premium and luxury, where rates rise substantially; luxury is aimed at travellers seeking a visibly more upscale experience and who are ready to pay for that jump.

When travellers from Singapore typically book

Singapore travellers will find the priciest month is December and the cheapest month is September, with September typically around 15% cheaper than December. Rooms here are usually booked about 11 days in advance on average, so plans can be reasonably flexible but many people still secure rooms a week or two ahead, especially in the priciest month.
