Definitely value for money! 🙌 Michael, our guide brought us through the Tiananmen entrance like VIPs! 😎 Heard the queue can be more than 3 hours long during the school holidays. Worth every penny to join the tour! 👌Michael is also incredibly knowledgeable, and we picked up so many interesting stories and bits of history along the way! 👏📚 Definitely made the experience even more worthwhile

Fantastic 5.0
Really enjoyed the whole tour experience, as our guide Allen was super cheerful despite us having to go through the tour on one of the hotter days in Beijing. Gotten really nice pictures and recommendations in the Forbidden City as well. Side note, please come well prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, cap/umbrella if you’re intending to do this tour during summer months as you’d spend at least 30 minutes going through the security check under the sun.

Fantastic 5.0
I booked the night tour of the wall + lunch + pickup. everything went smoothly, I got picked up at 8:50 at my hotel and received the information the night before. on the 2h drive, Cindy explained all the details clearly. I could always reach her via WhatsApp and she quickly sent me the location when I got lost. I paid extra for the boat ride straight to the lunch restaurant, I recommend it! lunch was hotpot, and I even got tofu instead of meat because I am vegetarian. then I explored the town and wall until 8:30pm. the wall and city are even more beautiful at night! I recommend the tour and thank you to Cindy!

Fantastic 5.0
Highly recommended. This tour makes the experience much more convenient, as it includes round-trip transportation between Beijing and the Great Wall, along with clear, easy-to-understand English commentary from the tour guide regarding the Mutianyu visit. MuBus has its own building at the Mutianyu site, so you can relax, rest, enjoy snacks, and have lunch there. I suggest choosing the package that includes the buffet lunch; the food is varied and delicious.

Absolutely mesmerizing. So much to see, and food is good! They do serve a bit quickly so may have to eat a bit faster cos there’s constantly smth to watch! The whole experience takes 1.5hrs. There’s also a museum to visit and take photos at before the meal so do arrive early to enjoy it.

Fantastic 5.0
An amazing experience that was even better than I imagined! The food was delicious and similar quality to michelin level fine dining and the quantity was shocking with me and my partner being full by the 7th course. The performance was also lovely though at times hard to follow as someone who wasn't familiar with the plot of Red dream chamber (would recommend reading a synopsis before). The hanfu was also very pretty with detailed embroidery and the attendants were very helpful in selecting it. It was fun taking photos in the courtyard though to be honest it was very hot and a bit uncomfortable so we mostly took pictures inside the dining room (which was air conditioned). I went on my birthday and they gave me a bottle of wine, cute gift bag with little trinkets and made me a part of the performance with an extra set of dessert! Overall would highly recommend!!

What to know before visiting Beijing

Quick snapshot of Beijing and what people book

Beijing draws bookings for theme parks, tours and museums, with a steady year shaped by a clear spring peak and an autumn lull. Klook demand data shows visits surge in spring and taper off towards late summer and autumn, so those leading categories set the rhythm of the year.

Best times to visit and how prices move

Klook booking data identifies April as the busiest month and August as the quietest. Prices on Klook drift down through spring into early summer and hit their lowest point in June, while the priciest month on record tends to be January; overall, prices and demand do not move in perfect sync — demand peaks in April but prices continue falling into June before rising again into January. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for June or other quieter months after April; if you want the peak-season atmosphere, plan for April when activity levels are highest.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most travellers from Singapore book activities about ten days ahead on average, with many bookings still possible up to about five days before travel, so you can be fairly flexible when planning. For travel during April — the busiest month — try to lock in must-do experiences earlier (closer to the typical lead time), while quieter months let you decide nearer the trip; use Klook to compare options and secure bookings when you spot the combination of price and timing that suits you.
