Things to do in Gold Coast

The Gold Coast Aquaduck tour is a unique sightseeing experience that allows you to enjoy both city street views and waterfront scenery. If you're visiting Surfers Paradise, you absolutely have to experience the highest and most beautiful views of the Gold Coast. I recommend coming in the afternoon so you can see the daytime view, the sunset, and the night view. Night views are prone to glare when taking pictures. I don't think you need to include breakfast; just seeing the view is enough. Buying tickets on-site costs AU$45, but pre-purchasing tickets on a platform is super cost-effective and you don't have to wait in line for too long.

The theme park was amazing and is highly recommended. The kids enjoyed it very much, taking photos with the superhero characters.

Movie World is the closest to a 'theme park' of the Gold Coast's Big 4. It's not huge, but the IP is solid, so even though Dreamworld is large, it feels like it's just 'filled with rides,' whereas Movie World feels full of content. Wet'n'Wild is the most 'Gold Coast'-like water park of the Big 4. When I was looking to book separately, I found that the price difference between buying tickets for two of the four parks separately and this package wasn't that big, but I'd have to specify dates, and I thought it would be a disaster if it rained. I had a great time at 3 of the Big 4 parks with this package, excluding Dreamworld.

Dreamworld was an absolute blast! This massive park combines wildlife and theme park thrills, offering something for everyone – adults and kids alike. With a ride for every age and thrill level, we had an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

This was a rare and wonderful experience – our first time seeing whales out at sea. We were on the third deck, and the boat rocked quite a bit once we were out on the water. If you're prone to seasickness, I recommend buying motion sickness pills from the boat company beforehand; they cost $4 AUD for two pills, as some people started feeling unwell and nauseous halfway through the trip. We did see some whales on our trip, and one whale unexpectedly breached, which was amazing, but I didn't manage to capture it on my phone. Overall, it was a great experience. I recommend bringing a jacket, as it gets windy and cold out on the open water.

It was a once in a lifetime experience.. Ben, our Baloon flight captain was outstanding. It was a great site to go Balooning, mesmerising to see the sun rise and the beautiful meadows. Totally worth it. It was so pleasant, serene and quiet up in the air 5000ft above the ground. We could see the gold coast and Brisbane skyline. it was indeed a 7 star experience. the pick up was on time and the coach was comfortable. the whole flying experience was top notch.
