we had a great time. even though it was super hot but there was so much to do and see. if you love roller coasters, best to purchase the express pass so you can skip the long line which sometimes does take up an hour or even more.

I had planned to get here for sunset but never worked out. Even though it was wet it was a clear view of Osaka on the roof top. I got carried away so didn't get chance to eat a proper meal so was great could get a snack and a sakura ice cream, which was very delicious. To top it off got to wat whilst taking in the view. There is also a souvenir shop and if stamp collecting is part of your trip there is a stamp book in the shop

This was incredibly well-used. I rode the subway and bus to my heart's content while traveling for two days. In just one day, I used this pass to visit Osaka Castle, the Santa Maria Cruise, the Tempozan Ferris Wheel, and Tsutenkaku, and I was extremely satisfied. If you plan to sightsee intensely for a day, the 1-day pass should be sufficient. Also, although it's not included in this pass, I highly recommend visiting Harukas 300 at night. It's truly breathtaking. I also strongly recommend the Santa Maria Cruise. Make sure to stand at the very front of the boat. Oh, and I don't recommend Osaka Castle. Taking photos of the exterior is fine, but the interior is a museum filled with Japanese history and war stories. Since I didn't know much about it, it wasn't interesting, didn't catch my eye, and there wasn't much to see. My legs just ended up hurting a lot.

Abeno Harukas Observatory is a must-visit viewpoint in Osaka. Its impressive height offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city, providing an incredibly open vista. On clear days, you can see for miles, and both daytime and nighttime views have their unique charm, with the night view being particularly stunning as the city lights create a spectacular sea of illumination. The observatory boasts a spacious layout with glass designs that ensure an unobstructed view, making it excellent for photography. It never feels cramped, allowing visitors to stroll and admire the scenery at their leisure. There's also a cafe and seating areas inside, where you can relax and enjoy the high-altitude views. Compared to other observatories, Harukas stands out for its height and superior comfort. Crowd control is also managed quite well, contributing to a very pleasant overall experience. While the ticket price might not be the cheapest, it is definitely worth it. Overall, it's a highly recommended attraction. If you want to see the most beautiful panoramic views of Osaka, this place will certainly not disappoint!

This is well worth it. Beleive me it was a hot day and last thing is having to line up and wait in a massive Queue. This place gets packed. Great thing if u book/make a reservation you skip these lines. It was a great experience they even had spray machines for you on way up to cool yourself down. They also have souvenir shops inside the castle to buy memorabilia. Its quite a massive space to explore and you get a good glimpse of history and the area is just magnificent to be in. You can also pay for boat trip down the river & other excursions. Wonderful experience.

The ferris wheel is a really fun way to take in city views! Located inside the Hep Five building on the 7th floor. We visited as a couple, usually its x4 people to a capsule but as it wasn't super busy they let us in as a pair in our own capsule which was nice!

This is a very worthwhile pass. I bought it during a 50% off promotion. You can choose 3 attractions to visit, or shopping/restaurant discount coupons. I used mine for 1 attraction and 2 shopping discount coupons. The total regular price of these three items was more than double the cost of the pass I purchased. It's also very convenient to use; just scan the QR code to enter the attractions, no need to queue up again to exchange for tickets.

What to know before visiting Osaka

What to experience in Osaka through the year

Osaka’s Things to Do list is dominated by Theme parks, followed by Attraction passes and Observation decks, with steady interest in Historical sites and Museums. Demand climbs towards October and November and falls through July, so the city mixes big family-friendly attractions with year-round cultural options.

Best activities by traveller type

Families will naturally gravitate to Theme parks for big-ticket, high-energy days out — these also offer the widest range of price points. Couples looking for relaxed sightseeing can pick from Attraction passes, Observation decks and Museums for scenic views and cultural stops. Solo travellers and small groups will find Historical sites and compact museum visits easy to slot into flexible itineraries between busier attractions.

What travellers from Singapore often book ahead

Most travellers from Singapore leave some flexibility — many Osaka activities can be picked up a day or two before travel — but typical Singapore bookings lock things in around two to three weeks ahead, and the earliest planners book roughly six weeks ahead. Booking ahead matters most for the October–November peak period, when demand is noticeably higher.

How the categories compare on price and fit

Historical sites are the easiest, most budget-friendly way into Osaka’s attractions, while Theme parks sit at the top end and also show the widest spread of options from entry-level to premium experiences. Attraction passes and Observation decks occupy a mid-range slot that suits visitors wanting value and convenience, and Museums sit comfortably in the mid-to-upper range for travellers after culture and quieter visits.
