Day Trip to Amanohashidate & Ine no Funaya & Miyama Thatched Village in the Sea of Kyoto (Departure from Osaka or Kyoto)

Instagram worthy sceneries to rural part of kyoto, which would be difficult to go to given how vast kyoto is… this was an very excellent trip with our fantastic tour guide amy aka happy bunny, so touched by her generosity in preparing various snacks for 20 over members, cooling wet wipes, to help us cool down and also her personal handwritten calligraphy name card for us! 100/10 marks, best tour guide ever!! love it

5-Star Tour with the Amazing Amy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Booking the Amanohashidate, Ine no Funaya, and Miyama Thatched Village tour on Klook was one of the best decisions of my Japan trip! The scenery across all three locations was breathtaking and offered unbelievable value. What truly made this trip unforgettable was our guide, Amy! She was absolutely phenomenal—bursting with positive energy, deeply helpful, and so lovely. Amy went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable, shared the best photo spots, recommended local treats, and kept the entire group smiling from start to finish. Her bright enthusiasm kept us energized all day. If you book this tour, I hope you get Amy as your guide! I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Japan.

I had a fantastic day tour with our guide Amy! She was so thoughtful and had fantastic knowledge of all the places we went! For instance she grouped all the solo travellers together on the bus for an opportunity for us all to meet. She brought snacks and postcards for us too. She was also just a burst of energy and I really enjoyed her enthusiasm. The tour itself was amazing and nothing like the Japan I know! Would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour experience with Frederick! We visited all of the beautiful places- even included 1 additional one (Fishing village itself) during the tour. Frederick is very energetic, kind, fun, and informative. The van that we used were comfortable and the driver was great too. Totally recommended!

Many thanks to our tour guide John and the two drivers on July 28th! Throughout the trip, John was incredibly thoughtful, sharing the pick-up locations and times for each stop via WhatsApp, complete with maps. This made things very convenient and reassuring for us tourists. At each attraction, he meticulously introduced the local history and unique features. The scenery at all the places we visited was absolutely beautiful: first, we took a boat cruise in Ine Bay, admiring the captivating Ine Funaya boathouses, which looked like they were straight out of a painting. Next, we visited Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three most scenic views. Finally, we were fortunate enough to encounter the misty, fairytale-like Miyama thatched-roof village. Each spot was truly worth spending an entire day exploring and appreciating. On the winding mountain roads back, John thoughtfully handed out refreshing Miyama milk as a small gift to each tourist. He truly went above and beyond! We are so grateful for such a meticulous and professional guide like John, and we highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour with a funny, down-to-earth, and incredibly knowledgeable guide. We had Steven, who was also very generous and made the day thoroughly enjoyable. The places we visited were absolutely beautiful and well worth spending a full day exploring. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Steven was amazing. He really knows his stuff and kept the trip light and funny. He also recommended some places to visit and even gave us little treats. super professional and great communication. Definitely book with him. The summer heat made the trip a bit exhausting but stay hydrated and eat lots of ice cream

We had an amazing experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Tina! She was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the trip. The destinations were absolutely breathtaking. Ine Funaya was peaceful and picturesque, with its unique waterfront boathouses creating a charming atmosphere unlike anywhere else. Amanohashidate truly lived up to its reputation as one of Japan’s most scenic views. The panoramic scenery was stunning, and the experience of seeing the famous “bridge to heaven” was unforgettable. Finally, Miyama was a beautiful glimpse into traditional rural Japan. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations. Every destination offered something unique, and Tina made the entire journey informative, fun, and stress-free.
