    Travelling to Taiwan

    1. Buy Travel Insurance

While it is not mandatory, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance that covers COVID-19 related medical/treatment expenses and hospitalisation costs. You can get the TravelCare Insurance on Klook which comes with coverage of up to S$200,000 for overseas medical expenses due to COVID-19.

    2. Visa not required for Singaporeans (From 29 September 2022)

Taiwan previously announced a list of countries under the visa-exemption scheme, which included Singapore; however this was later removed. The good news is Singaporeans can look forward to getting back on that list and enjoying full visa-free travel from 29 September 2022.
You can refer to this full list for Visa-exempted countries.

    3. No need for Quarantine (from 13 October 2022)

All you need to take note of is should you have any symptoms of Covid-19 within 7 days of arrival, do make use of the ART test kit given to you and self-monitor!

    Mask Mandate in Taiwan

As announced on 9 February 2023, there will no longer be a need to wear masks indoors starting 20 February. However, masks are still required for public transport, medical institutions, and long-term care facilities. The elderly and other vulnerable groups are advised to still wear masks.

    Returning to Singapore

    1. Complete SG Arrival Card

With testing no longer required under the Vaccinated Travel Framework, all travellers are only required to complete the SG Arrival Card up to 72 hours before departure for Singapore.
