You can pick up your tickets at the foreign visitor counter at the airport and reserve your seats at the same time. This pass can be used for the airport line or to get to Moere Station for the Beer Museum. All Hokkaido limited express trains require seat reservations, and it's worth it just for a day trip to Furano, Biei, and Asahikawa. If you don't get a reserved seat, you can still use it as a standing ticket.
This itinerary included areas like Sapporo, Otaru, and Furano, and this rail pass really saved a lot on transportation costs! It was very convenient to reserve seats with the rail pass, and we were able to easily book the Lavender Express and Biei Norokko trains at the station!
This is very convenient for those who choose not to drive. After arriving, you can exchange it at Shin-Chitose Airport Station. It covers areas from the airport to Sapporo city, Otaru, Asahikawa, and Furano. The price is very cost-effective; a round trip on the limited express to Asahikawa already pays for itself, and there's no extra charge for reserved seats on the limited express. The only drawback is that only a 4-day pass is available (the same applies when purchased on the official website), so you might need to plan your itinerary in advance. It would be even better if there were multiple date options, similar to the Hokkaido Rail Pass.
As convenient as ever, this will save a lot on transportation costs for those planning to visit Furano, Biei, Asahikawa, and Otaru. You can activate your rail pass at the JR Office in Chitose Airport, which is convenient and has fewer crowds, located right next to the gate.
I've purchased multiple JR Passes through Klook many times. It's convenient, easy to redeem, and always works. The promotions are great too.
The Sapporo-Furano Area Pass offers great value, and purchasing tickets on Klook is cheaper than buying them locally. The best part is that you don't have to buy a ticket every time you ride, and you can even use the pass in advance at the automatic ticket machine to reserve a seat. Just keep the reserved seat ticket handy for verification. Simply use the pass to enter and exit the ticket gates, making it very convenient!
After purchase, use the QR code to redeem at the Sapporo Station Customer Service Center. The redemption process is very smooth and convenient. You can easily take the JR to Otaru, Furano, and Biei, which can save you money on transportation.
Great value for money, convenient and quick access to JR, worth buying.
You can exchange your voucher at the JR Foreigner's Service Center at New Chitose Airport. You can use it immediately for the journey from the airport to Sapporo, and there's no extra charge for reserved seats, which is very convenient. The staff can speak a little Chinese and are very friendly!
First time in Hokkaido, I wanted to make sure I could get to all the places I planned to visit. The Sapporo-Furano pass was the perfect area size and time frame. The pass was easy to redeem and utilize.
