Traveler reviews
We booked DisneySea for this trip, and it's their 25th anniversary! Remember to grab the free FastPasses, which are limited to a few attractions (you can get one every 2 hours). Also, make sure to reserve your park entry and show times as soon as you arrive. I hesitated at first, and when I checked an hour later, all the free slots for the entire day were already booked! The Tower of Terror is definitely worth experiencing. Buying a paid FastPass makes the wait much shorter; it costs about 300 NTD per person, which is a great value, so I highly recommend it. You can also buy the limited-edition popcorn buckets, purchase postcards at the shops, buy stamps at the shop counters, and then, after writing and affixing the stamps, drop them in the mailbox—it's a wonderful souvenir! For the final fireworks show, try to find a higher vantage point. DisneySea's fireworks and lights are spread out horizontally, unlike the castle shows, so a higher view will give you better photos!
Absolute highlight of our Tokyo trip! You cannot miss Disneyland! Allow the entire day for this. We highly recommend downloading the Disney resort app so you can view a Map of the site, ride information and wait times. The most popular thrill rides (splash mountain & big thunder mountain) have big wait times, so get there asap or pay for Premier Access. It is cheap to do so & means you skip the long queues. Long wait times for Peter Pan ride, Lilo & Stich, Poohs honey hut, and Mickey Mouse. Food was pretty good-highly recommend Gaston’s restaurant, the churros & Toy Story mochi balls. Also must see the parades! Fireworks were good but not incredible. Lots of shopping available but I’d recommend going to actual Disney stores in Tokyo (Shibuya/Shinjuku) if you can’t find what you’re looking for as they will likely have it there.
Got super worried about getting the park hopper ticket to be able to get the most out of Disneyland and Disneysea but honestly, I think I got the most out of it. I would suggest starting with Disneysea if you’re into rides, and Disneyland if you’re into parades/shopping. I went to Disneysea and stayed till around 5 P.M., and did a lot of rides. I paid for 4 DPA’s and then waited 10-60 mins for the other rides. It honestly wasn’t that bad. Food is often taken by mobile order so we were able to order ahead; it arrived almost instantly as soon as we got to the venue of choice. Make sure you inform staff at the exit that you have a park hopper ticket or you might not get into the other park. We had a 10:30 A.M. start and finished around 8:30 P.M., completely satisfied for our first time there.
as always a wonderful visit and easy to purchase experience with Klook. the day was very busy after the typhoon the day before as many others did the same as us; cancel and rebook. we arrived at 8:30am and didn’t get into the park until 9:45am due to security being slow to process (merging lines). book your preferred DPA and 40th Anniversary passes early otherwise you will miss out. Met a few character, including Anna which my daughter was so happy with. Mermaid Lagoon is an absolute must at any time of the day but first thing is great for little ones. don’t miss the playground space!
Tokyo Disneyland truly left me with wonderful memories! Even though I accidentally overslept that day and didn't enter the park until 11 AM, missing the chance to get a Priority Pass, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The park was filled with a dreamy atmosphere, and every area was meticulously decorated. Walking through it felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Although I didn't get to experience many popular attractions, I was able to enjoy the park's ambiance more leisurely, savoring delicious food, taking photos, and soaking in Disney's unique charm. I watched three parade shows, and each one was full of surprises. The characters enthusiastically interacted with visitors, and the music and performances were incredibly spectacular, making everyone very happy. The grand finale fireworks at night were especially moving, looking even more magical against the backdrop of the castle and lights, providing a perfect end to the day. Even with a late entry and no Priority Pass, I still had an incredibly satisfying time, fully experiencing the joy and happiness that Disney brings. It was a wonderful trip that makes me want to visit again.
A memorable experience! Staff was so kind and attentive. At some point, my son forgot his hat on a ride, a staff member chased us down and returned it! The Disney app was great to help with knowing wait times, and the location of the attractions! No complaints, wear comfortable shoes, hydrate, and have fun! Food was reasonably priced and so were the souvenirs!!
Tokyo Disneyland’s evening event was absolutely magical. The atmosphere at night is incredible, with beautiful lights, music, and amazing performances that make the park feel like a dream. The Electrical Parade was definitely the highlight of the evening, the floats were stunning and the energy of the show was unforgettable. Even though it was crowded, everything was very well organized and worth the wait. I highly recommend visiting Tokyo Disneyland in the evening because the experience feels completely different and even more special after sunset.
Booking our Tokyo Disneyland tickets through Klook was quick and hassle-free — instant e-ticket delivery. The park itself was magical from the second we walked in — impeccably clean, beautifully themed, and full of little details that made it feel different from other Disney parks. With a young child, the mix of gentle rides, parades, and character encounters was perfect, and the staff were incredibly warm and accommodating with families. The attention to detail throughout the park, from the decorations to the seamless flow between lands, made for a truly enchanting day. Even with crowds, everything felt well-managed and organized. A must-do while in Tokyo — smooth booking through Klook and an unforgettable day for the whole family!
