Absolutely fantastic experience!! Tips: book the sanrio character boat ride in advance when you buy your Sanrio Puroland entry passport tickets, for a skip-the-line ticket. The queue for the boat ride was between 100-140 minutes. The advance ticket was not expensive and cut our wait time to about 15 minutes. The same applies to the Kuromi and My Melody Myemeroad ride, though this queue wasn't as long, the advance ticket got us on in 5 mins. The Sanrio Boatride was the better of the two rides though. There is not a lot of selection of food for veggies or vegans. In the Rainbow restaurant there is one plant based rice dish and in the food court there is a spicy curry. There are multiple areas to explore and the set design is really high quality. There are shows on at various times - for shows like Fairyland, go and get a seat about 20 mins before start or it will get full. Lots of merch to buy there too and very easy to get there from Keio Tama Central stayion. Overall a very cute day!

From Shinjuku, take the Keio Line to Tama Center Station. The station concourse is beautiful! We arrived at the park around 10:30 AM that day, and it took about 20 minutes to queue for entry. The park is well air-conditioned, making it perfect for a summer visit! The park is filled with adorable Sanrio decorations, which both kids and adults loved. Restaurants had long queues by just after 11:00 AM, so if you plan to dine there, you should find a table early. The rides in the park all had wait times of over 60 minutes, so we didn't queue for any. We stayed for about 2 hours before leaving. On the way from the park back to Tama Center Station, there's a shopping mall with a large Muji and GU (where you can get tax refunds). There's also a food court in the basement. If you don't want to eat in the park, you can grab a quick meal here or at one of the restaurants in the station!

we had a wonderful time at Sanrio Puroland! We got there shortly after they opened and there was still a queue to get in. It moved quickly and scanning our tickets from Klook was a breeze. I had read a blog post that said to get in line on the right staircase for the service counter. We waited in line for about 10 minutes but were able to purchase puropasses to see the characters. We bought 2 for our group of 5 for each of the characters that we wanted to see. You get 1 pose per pass. my youngest wanted to have her own photo with the characters so this was a great option. We also got tickets for the Kubuki show. Highly recommend seeing it. Even though we don’t speak Japanese it was still really enjoyable and entertaining! Definitely get the popcorn from the vending machines-so unique. We also ate at the character buffet on the top floor. Characters came out on stage every 15-20 minutes. We got to take selfies and see more characters that were not meeting that day! Definitely a fun day!

it was very easy to book on klook and as well as accessing the tickets. there was long wait times for the rides but with the express tickets, i only had to wait around 10 mins for my turn. if you’re wanting to do meet and greets, get there early to book as all the slots were taken very quickly. puroland does have its own free wifi but note that sometimes accessing the web might be slow. it’s also best to bring cash as there is lots of gacha, label makers, spin the wheel etc that requires coins but you can use card when buying from the gift shops. for the restaurants, lots of tables were taken as people would leave their stuff to claim their table while they order but the food was nice!

Great experience with klook as you fo not need to register on the puroland website beforehand. Simply show your klook voucher and you are good to go. We arrived 15min prior to opening as long queues even on a Friday can start well before opening time. The queue is daunting but we managed to enter smoothly, scanned the QR code for wifi from one of the ushers inside the complex and then booked the Meet and Greet character sessions without issue. Tip, take a screencap of your character session qrcode in case your connection died like mine did! Also the toilets by Fairytaleland are quite cool!

My mother and I had an amazing time at Sanrio Puroland! From the moment we arrived, the Japanese hospitality was incredible… every staff member was so kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the experience even more special.
The performances were absolutely amazing and full of energy, color, and creativity. You can really tell how much effort goes into every show and attraction. Seeing all of the Sanrio characters come to life was such a magical experience.
We also loved trying the themed dishes and desserts inspired by the different Sanrio characters. Everything was not only adorable but also delicious! It made the entire visit feel even more memorable.
Overall, we had such a wonderful experience together and created memories we’ll never forget. I would definitely recommend Sanrio Puroland to anyone visiting Japan, and my mother and I would absolutely love to come back again!

Super easy to use. Staff assisted and very friendly. Park was adorable. We purchase Puropass to see 4 characters and 2 rides. Ate at character dining. Lots of people on the weekend but because of the pass, we were able to do everything we wanted. popcorn was cute too! love it!

Sanrio Puroland exceeded my expectations. We paid $20NZD to get a puro pass for the boat ride express pass. this ride has the longest wait, we only had to wait 10mins with the pass. we also used the QR codes to get a free meet and greet with one character per phone. The characters were amazing and really made you feel special. we booked for two characters, but while in the line (which are not long) to see them, we saw lots of other characters, who also interacted with us. the hello Kitty house is lovely and you get to see hello Kitty too. There is so much to do! it felt like we were always doing something, rather than just waiting in lines. We left without doing everything. if you love Sanrio, two days would be good. it is the best run theme park I have been too. you can go in and out, the food is fun and yummy, it is mostly Japanese guests… so good! The pass we purchased here worked perfectly and is a good deal. I didn’t need to prove I was from NZ.
