Fantastic 5.0

This was a perfect tour, good pace, interesting places, enough time to see them. These spots are difficult to access otherwise, so I am happy I could see all three in a day. The Takayama Inari shrine is beautiful and so remote, there was barely anyone there, lots of opportunities to take pictures. The blue pond is actually blue - at least when the sun is out. Very nice walk around the lakes. My group was of 6 people and we travelled in a private taxi with a driver.

There was no tour guide this time because the group size was small, so the driver gave us a brief introduction instead. The weather was fantastic; if we had come in October, we would have been able to see mountains full of maple leaves.

The driver and tour guide was very attentive, picking us up and dropping us off right at the hotel entrance, and taking great care of us. They also went above and beyond to help us take photos while we enjoyed a delicious lunch! 👍🏻

The driver was very nice, and the car was clean and comfortable. However, it wasn't quite as described in the itinerary; there was no Chinese commentary, which was a bit disappointing, and bottled water was not provided, so remember to bring your own (it was included in other tours I've taken).

The tour was punctual and polite, giving passengers adequate space. There were only two other people in the group, so it was a small group of four, which felt more comfortable.
