• 【About the Hiking Itinerary】 This itinerary includes a hiking section of approximately 7.6 kilometers from Hosshinmon-oji on the Kumano Kodo to Kumano Hongu Taisha, with a hiking time of about 4 hours. It is recommended to wear comfortable, non-slip athletic shoes or hiking boots, and to prepare rain gear, sun protection, and drinking water according to the weather.
• 【About Dual Pilgrim Certification】 If you have completed the Camino de Santiago in Spain, please be sure to bring relevant pilgrimage proof documents (Credential or certificate). Eligible travelers can apply for "Dual Pilgrim" certification according to official regulations.
• 【About Stamp Collection】 Both the Kumano Kodo Official Certification and the Dual Pilgrimage Certification require collecting designated stamps. Please keep your pilgrimage notebook safe and pay attention to the opening hours of each stamp collection point. Stamp rules and requirements may be adjusted according to official announcements.
• 【About facility fees】 Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine worship is free. Separate tickets are required for the Treasure Hall and the Nachi Falls Otaki Haisho Stage. Please bear the cost yourself. The actual ticket price is subject to the on-site announcement.
• 【Regarding Weather Impact】 The Kumano region has many mountainous and forest sections, and the weather changes quickly. In the event of heavy rain, typhoons, road closures, or other force majeure factors, some hiking trails or attractions may be canceled or adjusted to ensure safety.

Cancellation policy

• You'll get a full refund if you cancel at least 7 day(s) before the activity date (destination local time)
• No refund will be issued in case of unforeseen events or extreme weather caused the following condition: The activity cannot follow the itinerary
• If you've participated in at least one activity, visited at least one attraction or used one of the tickets, refunds can't be issued
• The activity will be cancelled if there is not a minimum of 6 participants. If this happens, you'll get a rescheduled time or refund
