Kumano Nachi Taisha & Nachi Falls. We've reached the climax of this trip! Kumano Nachi Taisha stands majestically on the mountainside, exuding a solemn and spiritual aura. The adjacent "Seiganto-ji Temple" and "Nachi Falls," Japan's tallest waterfall with a drop of 133 meters, complement each other. Nachi Falls itself has been revered as a deity since ancient times. When you stand on the viewing platform, feeling the splashing mist and the roaring sound of the waterfall, your heart will experience an unprecedented sense of peace and awe. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants to experience the Kumano Kodo trail without getting too tired. This itinerary allows you to experience the essential routes, offering a rich blend of mountain and ocean views. The Kamesei Hotel, recommended by the travel agency, boasts incredible ocean views. I hadn't booked breakfast at the hotel, and our tour leader, Mr. Yan, even called the hotel on my behalf, which I greatly appreciate!
It was a great experience. The team members were very polite and courteous, and everyone maintained a certain social distance. The atmosphere was excellent, and everyone was self-disciplined and punctual when gathering and departing. There were no forced group activities, allowing for more freedom. The activity arrangements were good, with a mix of hiking and driving, so it wasn't too tiring. The scenery along the way was fantastic and had a strong local flavor. Our team leader, Yan, was very kind; when my phone was left at the previous stop, he even helped me go back to look for it. Whenever issues arose, Team Leader Yan did his best to assist everyone. He also shared some interesting myths and stories about the Kumano Kodo, and he didn't intrude too much during the trip, ensuring everyone had their personal space.
The itinerary content and services were excellent. The recommended hot spring hotel boasted an unbeatable ocean view, and the meals were very authentic. Special thanks to our tour leader, Mr. Iwa, for his thoughtful care. This is an excellent choice for travelers who want to experience the Kumano Kodo but are not confident about walking for 3-7 days. Highly recommended! 👍
The tour guide was very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. They are trustworthy, and we had a wonderful time.
