I had to 'drag' my family on this tour, but it turned out to be one of their favorites! We enjoyed learning about the samarai and the castle, but the sumo tournament was their favorite. The tournament was exciting and the three hours went by quickly. The guide explained how the sumo wrestlers are ranked and told us which levels we were going to see. They explained the rules and provided information on the different wrestlers. The event was sold out and packed with families. I highly recommend getting tickets early if you are visiting during a tournament.
