This carefully designed tour is a perfect blend of natural wonders and cultural heritage. Mitsumine Shrine: Discover serenity and tradition in a thousand-year-old Shinto shrine nestled in the Kumotori Sacred Mountains. Please note that the shrine is located at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level and the road to reach it can be winding.
Visit Bamba Street, the Chichibu Shrine, and a local sake brewery shop.
Enjoy a relaxing and sometimes exhilarating River Cruise through the cobblestone streets of the Arakawa River in Nagatoro, which has been designated a special natural heritage site by the Japanese government.

This is an extraordinary trip that unravels a lesser-known side of Japan to travellers, through an in-depth visit to Mitsumine Shrine and Nagatoro. The tourist guide also provided detailed introduction to the places, along with an explanation of Japanese religions, history, culture, geography and language. The guide was also very helpful, informative and friendly (which made me wholeheartedly hope that we could meet again in my upcoming travels in Japan). For travelers who expect an unusual and a more tranquil experience in Japan, this trip is highly recommended!

Good to know
- Due to traffic conditions and timing, some of our stops may be skipped altogether. However, we will try to stay on the scheduled itinerary as much as possible. As a general rule, we do not offer partial refunds in these cases
- The road to Mitsumine Shrine, which is 1000 meters above sea level, has many curves, so if you usually suffer from car sickness, please bring your medicine
- Please note that no refunds will be given for weather-related complaints or changes in the tour schedule made by the tour guide or any of our staff
- The river cruise on the Arakawa River is generally gentle, but occasionally you may get partially wet, so we recommend bringing a waterproof jacket You will be asked to wear a safety vest on board the boat. If you refuse to do so, you will be asked not to participate in the cruise and your ticket will not be refunded
- Children under 60 cm (1.7 ft) in height are not allowed on board
- Children under the age of 4 travel free, but do not receive a seat on the bus. If a seat is required, please book at the adult rate
- If you want to stay in Chichibu after the tour, contact us after your booking
- No refunds will be issued in case the customer doesn't show up at the meeting spot on time
