we went during summer and the town was pretty much empty and shops all closed, but the hotel was very comfortable and modern. loved the public bath and option for a private onsen experience. breakfast was great too!

Very nice hotel with a great view of the snow falling. Breakfast is delicious. The place is very cozy esp the lounge area. Free shuttle to ski resorts and back. Overall very satisfied!
