The layout is great, and Sengan-en itself is wonderful. I spent a fulfilling five hours relaxing and gazing at Sakurajima after touring the gardens! I thought the Green Ticket included mochi and imo-shochu, but it only covered admission, two experiences, a meal, and a Shirokuma dessert.

this was a truly amazing experience. highly recommend. don’t worry about asking at the front desk about where to go - just follow the instructions on your voucher and state your name at the front desk of the restaurant and hot spring. the staff are super helpful.

Cozy San was a wonderful guide! She’s very knowledgeable about Sakurajima, Kagoshima and Japan as a whole. We learned a lot about Sakurajima, the history and the present. A hidden culinary gem in Kagoshima's Tenmonkan district! We ordered Set A, which included sukiyaki and steak. The meat was incredibly fresh and tender! The roasted apple dessert was quite unique. Both the server and the chef were very friendly. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kagoshima!
