Things to do in Kamikochi

Our tour guide, Yan Xia, was very funny and spoke clearly, it felt like participating in military training. However, I hope there's more time for rest stops and bathroom breaks. With less than 15 minutes of break time, you barely have enough time to wait in line for the restroom, and you can't even buy anything to eat when you're hungry.

We experienced rain, snow and sun during our Kamikochi hiking tour. The scenery was stunning in autumn and we enjoy the nature walk in this cool weather. We didn’t feel tired and took many photos for this tour for remembrance.

Depart promptly at 8:00 AM. There will be a rest stop for bathroom breaks. Arrive around 11:00 AM. The return trip is at 2:45 PM with a rest stop for bathroom breaks, arriving back at Nagoya Station on time around 6:00 PM. Kamikochi has beautiful scenery, good air, and a wide-open view. It's really a place you should go at least once. I heard it will be closed for the winter on November 15th.

Thank you to our guide Amanda, who did her best. We came for the Tateyama itinerary, which was a bit tiring as we had to wake up early. The guide led everyone through the mountains and valleys, keeping to the schedule. The scenery of the Chubu and Hokuriku regions is definitely worth visiting. Next time, I'll come back and explore Kanazawa and Toyama as well. We were very lucky with the weather this time, seeing both snow and autumn colors.

We enjoyed our kamikochi experience. It was cloudy that day but there were times that it would fade away revealing a really beautiful scenery- I highly recommend it esp for nature lovers. Our tour guide Ms Amy was very helpful. Overall our experience was just amazing. thank you Klook 😊

Lucked out, the weather is great!! Only downside: the drive is pretty long...😁

The tour guide was competent and attentive. The accommodation was satisfactory, and the dinner and breakfast were plentiful. The apples were delicious. The scenery in Kamikochi and Tateyama Kurobe was very beautiful.

A really great natural journey to explore Kamigochi. We only have 3.5hrs to visit. There is two ways to visit the mountains. We choose the easier way which start from Taisho-ike. It officially takes 1.5 hours to walk to the bus terminal. However, if you love taking photos and enjoying your lunch with the spectacular view, 3.5hrs is just barely enough. There is some great souvenirs at Kappa-bashi Bridge.Our tour guide Lee was very helpful and nice.
