Fengchia Night Market tours

The tour was great. The tour schedule includes essential tourist spots in Taichung. It's a half-day tour, so you could visit Shenggang Village in the morning before joining. Gaomei Wetland is really windy, so I'd recommend anyone with long hair to tie it up before visiting. Although it's a half-day tour, the itinerary is well-packed. It was great that the tour included places I wanted to see in Taichung, so I didn't have to visit them separately. Since the tour started in the afternoon, I also had time to explore Shenji New Village near the meeting point. The weather was good, so I enjoyed the beautiful scenery overall. Even though it's an English and Chinese-speaking tour, they played a Korean translation for us, which made the experience even more comfortable. The wind at Gaomei Wetland is strong enough to spin the wind turbines. I recommend that women with long hair tie it up. Am I the only one who thinks of G.O.D.'s 'Road' when walking through Gaomei Wetland?

The trip was amazing! Vaness was knowledgeable and accomodative. The trip was smooth with the guide’s driving and explanation throughout. Vaness made the experience so much more enjoyable with his easygoing personality and genuine enthusiasm. Itinerary was well-planned and it didn’t feel rushed; there’s ample time to explore the different attractions and enjoy the scenery. The only tiny shortfall was the accomodation at Alishan which was a little dated, but most of the accommodations around that area are about the same. Overall, would recommend if you are looking for a short well planned trip out of Taipei.

My husband, my mum, and I attended this tour together. Our tour guide was Shine. My husband and I are long-time residents of Taichung and had never heard of the history of Nantun District before, which is what made us interested in this tour. Shine did an amazing job explaining about and showing us the little tidbits of architectural and cultural history that still remain in the area. Our favorite part was comparing old photos to the exisitng streets to see what’s changed and what’s still there today, and also the blacksmith’s forge. We’ll definitely be coming back to buy some gardening tools! I personally also really loved the jute tea. We thought the desserts from 林金生香 WISH LIN 百年糕餅店 were beautiful and bought some cakes from them after the tour to enjoy later with tea.

the guide was by good. she speaks very good English and Korean. keen to answer all our questions. the rainbow village was very small nothing to see ong coloured wooden houses. but if your new it's OK to have 1 visit.

The trip was very fulfilling and enjoyable. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing ample time to explore each attraction. The hotels were conveniently located near the sights, offering beautiful views. Our tour guide, Vanness, was very professional, attentive, and thoughtful. At each attraction, he provided detailed explanations of its history and special significance, and also thoroughly informed us about the best routes, photo spots, and optimal viewing locations. He was also very approachable, witty, and humorous. Not only could he flexibly adjust the itinerary as needed, but he also frequently chatted and laughed with us throughout the journey, sharing insights into Taiwan's unique cuisine and local customs in a lively way, which made the trip continuously entertaining. I highly recommend this tour!👍

Loved this half day trip of Taichung. All the places we went are really worth watching. Highly recommend anyone to take this trip. Our guide Lynn speaks very good english and provides details of every site thouroughly. The day we visited Gaomei wetlands, the wind was extrememly strong and it made our experience wonderful, it was much more than just a walk. I went on this trip with my mother and both of us highly enjoyed this trip.

this tour turned out to be the highlight of my taiwan trip. am travelling solo but the whole experience was smooth and hassle-free from start to finish. the hotel arrangements were really nice and comfortable — definitely something we appreciated after long day tours. Transfers were organized and seamless, which made the trip even more relaxing. Special thanks to our tour guide (Jason Wu) who was not only a safe and skilled driver, but also very kind, accommodating, and always willing to assist us. He even helped us take lots of photos throughout the trip, making the experience extra memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable tour experience! #JasonWolf

Definitely worth your money to be comfortablely transported to these local sights. Meeting up at Starbucks was easy, guide wore a bright orange vest to easily identify her. Guide can speak Chinese, English, and Korean quite well. All the talking is done on the bus (thank you Lynn!) and you are given time to explore the sites at your own pace. Watch the time, don’t be late getting back on the bus! Guide lets you know all the interesting facts about each location and offers advice on what to buy. Being dropped off at the night market is a good idea, it’s far from the city centre.
