Things to do in Xitou Monster Village

lots of walk and a very long drive. glad that pur tour guide still push through with the trip even though we were only 3. our tour guide is a Chinesse couple who does not speak much English but we were still able to communicate thanks to google translate. our guide mentioned that we were too early and too late for something majestic so he just showed the picture of how it looks like with water. at lunch time there’s so much food that we could not finish it. this is great for a group tour. glad that we made a friend as well with Noah who takes great photos!

Since I had already visited Alishan, Sun Moon Lake, and Cingjing, and the Wuling tour was canceled, I ended up booking this tour by chance. It had been raining every day during the Qingming Festival, so I was worried about going up the mountain in the rain. Although there was a little drizzle, the weather was generally good! There isn't much to see in April, but the temperature was around 64°F (18°C), which was very comfortable! The experience was superb. Although I had to remind the driver that part of what we paid for was the Monster Village tour. He initially did not include this on the itinerary. Despite this, he was very kind and took nice photos for our group. This tour is highly recommended and is not advisable to DIY especially when accompanied by seniors. Although the train that day was under maintenance so we couldn’t go to the waterfalls due to long walk needed and limited time.

I think the environment is very good, and the food is also good. The pot-roasted chicken is excellent, but I'm not sure why the restroom door and bathroom door couldn't be locked, though they could be closed. The environment is truly wonderful.
