Just scan your passport upon arrival since your ticket is already linked to it. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the express pass. We went there on a normal Monday and it was really crowded. Got 1 ride we need to queue for 40 mins even if we got express pass.

We had a great experience visiting the Forbidden City! Booking through Klook made entry easy and convenient. The Forbidden City is absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture and so much history to explore. A useful tip: if you also plan to visit Tiananmen Square, you’ll need to make a separate reservation through the WeChat mini program at least 24 hours in advance to be assigned a security checkpoint. Tiananmen Square leads directly towards the Forbidden City, but you don’t need to visit the square first. There is plenty to see and explore, so allow enough time for your visit. The ice cream snacks at the end were also delicious and a perfect treat on a hot day!

I bought tickets from Klook to Temple of Heaven on 14 Oct26. We enter without any problems using our passports. 2 of us seniors enter free , no need to buy tickets. We only bought 2 adults from Klook for our 2 youngsters. It was lovely to see so many tourists wearing traditional clothes and pose for photos here. At one of the gate, you see display of 2 children among the beautiful fresh , real flowers. This is the time of the year to enjoy flowers and cool weather. Worth the trip and thanks for the ease of booking on Klook.

Booking this Mutianyu Great Wall package was incredibly smooth and hassle-free from start to finish. I loved having the entrance ticket, shuttle bus, and chairlift all combined into one simple booking. When I arrived at the scenic area, scanning my mobile voucher was quick and easy. I was able to bypass the long ticket queues completely. The shuttle bus pick-up point was simple to find, and hopping straight onto the chairlift saved so much time and leg energy for hiking the wall itself. The whole process was crystal clear, well-organized, and very easy to navigate even on my first visit. It made my entire day completely stress-free.

Fantastic 5.0
The guide, Linda, was organized and constantly aware of not losing the group, giving us enough time for the entire group to arrive at each stop before offering her recounting on the significance of each building, relic or historical artifact. She spoke clearly and coherently, adding a touch of humour, always with a smile. The tour was well paced, not too hectic, despite the scale and depth of what was covered. Definitely worth your money!

Quick responses from Klook. Worth for the price. I can literally explore both the north and south sides of the wall. I took the cable car near the high speed rail station, hiked downhill and climbed up to the south, took the tram back down.

What to know before visiting Beijing

Quick snapshot of Beijing and what draws visitors

Beijing’s Klook bookings are dominated by theme parks, followed by tours and museums, so the city mixes big-ticket entertainment with cultural and historical experiences. Demand peaks in June and falls to its lowest in September, giving the year a clear busy summer rhythm with quieter pockets in late summer and autumn.

Best times to visit based on crowds and prices

According to Klook booking data, June is the busiest month while September sees the weakest demand. Prices drift down through the autumn into winter and reach their lowest point in June of the following year, while December is typically the priciest month. If you want lower prices and fewer crowds, aim for the quieter months around September through November; if you’re after peak-season atmosphere and the liveliest attractions, June and the surrounding summer months are best. Note that demand and prices don’t move in perfect sync here: the busiest month (June) is not the priciest—prices actually fall into the next year—so you can catch busy summer energy without the very highest price spikes if you time things carefully.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most visitors from the Philippines book about six days ahead on average, so plan your core experiences roughly a week before travel, and you can still secure popular tours and tickets. For last-minute flexibility, many activities remain bookable until about two days before; for the best selection in peak months like June, consider booking earlier. Use Klook to compare theme parks, tours and museum options and lock in the experiences you most want before peak demand rises.
