Our guide John is well-versed in English and very informative on history of Forbidden City. Amidst the tourist crowd, he still tends to walk too fast and some families with old folks will be difficult to follow up. Just look out for his red flag then. Overall, great experience and learnt a great deal on forbidden city.

It's not bad for a group of four. We went a little late and the tour guide waited for us patiently. There are colloquialisms, you know. It's like a teacher teaching us. I want to laugh every time I hear it. Haha 😄 It's cold. I suggest you wear more clothes. Wear a hat.

I suggest you don't come in winter, it's too cold. I walked to 3 spots outdoors. The four-person group was great, it wasn't like the big group where you couldn't hear anything.

The guide was friendly and attentive, showing care for the group throughout the visit. They provided an excellent explanation of the history and background of the area. The tour was not rushed, allowing ample time for exploration, making it feel nothing like a typical group tour experience.
