Fantastic 5.0
I absolutely loved my stay here as a first-time guest. celebrated my birthday & the complimentary surprise cake made the occasion even more special! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and felt luxurious especially the fully functional bathtub, modern toilet seat, and well-maintained bathroom. The staff were warm and accommodating throughout our stay, from reception to the lobby team. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had. dining area was spacious, food selection was enjoyable. I would love to see addtl options such as bacon, pastries, local kakanin,& hot chocolate. A few minor details could also be improved. The room was cold and comfortable, but some towels looked worn and the carpet had visible stains. These did not significantly affect our stay, but addressing them would elevate the experience further. Overall, it was a wonderful birthday stay, and we will definitely return to try the gym and pool. Thank you for making my celebration memorable! ✨🤍

I recently stayed at Go Hotels Ermita and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located near Robinsons Place Manila, restaurants, and public transportation, making it perfect for travelers exploring the city. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with reliable air conditioning and fast Wi-Fi. Staff members were friendly, accommodating, and quick to assist with requests. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. While the rooms are compact, they provide everything needed for a short stay. The hotel also felt safe and well maintained. Overall, it offers excellent value for budget conscious travelers visiting Manila. (AI)

“An unforgettable place because my husband celebrated his 41st birthday at this hotel, and the staff also joined in making it special. Their cheesecake was delicious. The place is nice and clean. The staff are kind, and their manager is always visible and ready to serve. Their breakfast is also delicious. I also really liked the water beside the lobby; it was very refreshing. We will definitely stay at your hotel again next time. It is affordable and highly recommended. Thank you also to Klook for helping resolve my double booking issue — I also received my refund. Thank you.”

What to know before visiting Manila

Manila Travel Guide

The capital of the Philippines: history, food, culture, and the gateway to Luzon’s best day trips.

Set on the eastern shore of Manila Bay in the heart of Metropolitan Manila, Manila is the capital city of the Philippines and the historic center of the country. Often described as a city of contrasts, Manila blends centuries of history with modern Manila’s skyline, cultural districts, creative neighborhoods, and a fast-paced lifestyle. As the seat of the city government and a key part of the National Capital Region, it is both a living museum of the country’s past and the starting point for countless adventures across Luzon and other islands.

Why Visit Manila

Manila is one of Southeast Asia’s most historically layered cities. Its historic walled city, Intramuros, preserves the Spanish colonial heart of the capital, where Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, and the Manila Cathedral stand as enduring symbols of Philippine history. Many of the city’s landmarks reflect centuries of Spanish rule, later influences from World War II, and architectural styles reflect American planning, creating a rare blend of eras within a single urban landscape.

As the cultural capital of the country, Manila is home to major museums, performance spaces, universities, and historic churches. Institutions such as the National Museum Complex showcase fine arts, anthropology, and natural history, making the city a center for education, art, and heritage. At the same time, neighborhoods like San Miguel, Santa Cruz, Santa Ana, and San Juan preserve community traditions, religious landmarks, and local identity.

Food lovers visit Manila for its diversity: from Chinese-Filipino cuisine in the oldest Chinatown to local markets, street food, and innovative restaurants in Makati and Bonifacio Global City. Manila is also the gateway to Luzon, offering easy access to Tagaytay, Taal Volcano, Pagsanjan Falls, Bataan, Subic, and Batangas. Whether you are interested in history, food, art, or planning unforgettable day trips, visiting Manila offers so much fun for families, couples, and fellow travelers alike.
