Fantastic 5.0
This is my 3rd time using Klook for Japan day tour and I must say so far this is the best guide I’ve ever seen. Our guide Anson is very attentive and explained the itinerary very well, he even created a group chat to share location in case we’re not sure where to meet. Worth mentioning there’s a family with one elderly couldn’t move very well, he even gave up his seat for me, making sure easy access for the elderly. Most importantly, he’s the only guide that never asked us to leave a good comment for him ( guess most of the comments on Klook were mostly requested by the tour, which I hate it the most). The tour itself was very ok, saw some comments that it seems very rush, guess this is to do with the planning and make sure you prioritise which spots you want to cover first. Andon our guide gave us some tips and I find that really useful. Thanks for making the trip an awesome experience and finally, Uji is checked !

I had a really memorable day thanks to our guide. We visited Nara, Uji, and Fushimi Inari, and the whole trip was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. She has a very cool and confident vibe — short hair, a relaxed style, and a calm, clear way of speaking. She can switch between Japanese, Mandarin, and English effortlessly, which made everything so easy and natural. Her explanations were simple and vivid, not boring at all, and she shared small details that made each place feel alive. I also really appreciated her respectful and open personality. She didn’t try to perform or push anything — she just let the experience breathe, which made the day feel genuine and relaxed. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, chill, and really knows how to guide without being overbearing, I’d definitely recommend her. Great energy, great pace, great company.

Absolutely loved our Day 3 tour from Osaka to Nara & Uji! 🦌✨ Visiting Nara Park, Tōdaiji Temple, and Byōdōin Temple was breathtaking — the temples are stunning, and the deer in Nara Park are so adorable and friendly. 🏯💛 The Uji matcha food tour was a highlight — every treat was delicious, and the matcha desserts were unforgettable! 🍵💚 The day was perfectly balanced with sightseeing, culture, and foodie adventures. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a mix of history, nature, and yummy Japanese treats — we had so much fun and made memories to last a lifetime! 🌟

I really enjoyed this day trip. Locke was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, friendly, and great at keeping the group organized. He shared clear explanations in both English and Chinese and always made sure everyone knew where to go next. He also helped take photos at each spot, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a great experience, and I’d happily recommend him to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Fantastic 5.0
I'm fine, but there are many reviews saying it was inconvenient. Even though I got off the station early, I searched for the place that Klook told me on Google, and it gave me the wrong place, so I wandered around and barely managed to join the class after a Japanese person and the teacher talked to me and told me the way again. The teacher was kind and made me feel comfortable because I was alone. We communicated in Japanese, Korean, and English, and the class covered greetings, gratitude, and the language used for tea etiquette. The subject of the Japanese tea ceremony, how to whip matcha, how to drink it, and the etiquette for eating tea, and I was happy that they kept saying goodbye until they disappeared from my sight. I thought it would be difficult to teach you a lot in a short period of time. Since I like tea, I thought I wanted to learn more, but I was glad that they said that I could make a reservation on Instagram next time and take a class in Osaka or Kyoto. I didn't apply for a kimono on Klook in the first place. I think it's right to not choose a kimono when you apply if you don't want it. They say it's good to wear white socks and white tops when visiting a tea house, but I learned that from reading a tea ceremony book when I came back... It's not easy to open the tea ceremony door or step over the threshold, so it seems difficult to teach that to a foreigner from the beginning. I think this experience is a good class to learn tea ceremony lightly^^♡♡♡

Our multingual tour guide Min was very helpful. He sent links to the best places to get food and snacks. Pro Tip: Take a photo of your bus. I recommend pinning the location of the parking lots each time you stop. We got lost in Nara Deer Park and had to practically ran back up.

Summer feels, great tourist attractions. We love the places. A popular destination known for its friendly wild deer roaming freely in Nara Park and its historical temples and shrines.
