We took a Kansai day tour, and our guide, Lully, was absolutely wonderful! She's Japanese but speaks incredibly fluent Chinese, Korean, and English, which really impressed us and made us feel very comfortable. We visited Kyoto, Nara, and Uji. Although the itinerary was a bit packed, it never felt rushed. She organized every stop perfectly, giving us advance tips and recommending great places to eat and shop. She was also very proactive in helping everyone take photos, showing exceptional thoughtfulness and patience, and always speaking with such energy. A big thank you to the driver as well for all his hard work! Overall, this was a fantastic experience. We hope to join Lully's tour again next time we're in Osaka, and we'll definitely recommend her to our friends! 😁😁👍🏻👍🏻
This is a worthwhile trip to Nara and Kyoto. You could choose to visit Nara, Kyoto, Kobe/Himeji, Shiga, and Wakayama separately, but there is an advantage to seeing two heritage sites at once. Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Todaiji Temple, Byodo-in Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple are all World Heritage sites and are wonderful places to visit again and again. Thank you to veteran guide Jeon Yun-cheol, and thank you to the Japanese driver of the large bus for safe driving and a schedule that was appropriate for the time allotted.
This was my first trip to Japan, and I had a lot of concerns, but thanks to Ruri-chan's guidance, it was incredibly fulfilling! LOL. We only had a guide for one day out of our 3-night, 4-day trip, but it turned out to be very satisfying!! She explained each attraction well during our travels, and since Ruri-chan knows all the best food spots, her recommendations for desserts and other great places to eat were fantastic. It was also great that she compiled and shared a list of all the best restaurants, making it easy to choose where to go! She even put in her best effort to take beautiful photos for us, even in crowded places (?). Besides the famous spots, I really wanted to visit a gachapon store, and when I asked, she diligently searched and found one for us, creating another fun memory! The time we visited coincided with the Japanese students' school trip season, so it was EXTREMELY crowded, and the weather was EXTREMELY hot, which made it a bit challenging, but looking back, it's a good memory. LOL. I don't think we would have been able to manage it without a guided tour. If you're looking for a fulfilling and friendly guide in the Kyoto & Nara area, I highly recommend Ruri-chan >.< However, if you want to visit during a quieter time, you should definitely avoid mid-May. I recommend checking the school trip season before you go... Otherwise, you'll experience places full of students everywhere you go. LOL. If I visit Japan again and have the opportunity, I'll definitely come back for another tour with Ruri-chan~~!
I just returned from a wonderful Tokyo bus tour today, and I'd love to go again! It was crowded with so many people, but thanks to our lovely guide, Ruri, it was a delightful trip! I really admired her ability to speak three languages. She explained everything so well and gave us great restaurant recommendations in advance, so we enjoyed delicious meals without any hassle. She also took beautiful photos for us and was incredibly kind! On the way back, she even recommended a restaurant for dinner, making the entire experience perfect from start to finish. Thank you so much!
I took a tour with Guide Jo Jun-young on March 10th. It remains a truly happy memory that still comes to mind, even a month later. This was our family's first overseas trip, and considering my parents' and wife's stamina, we chose a bus tour, which was a decision I definitely don't regret. I felt a little bad for the guide because I just slept during the journey, having arrived in the early hours of the previous day. However, being able to comfortably rest and recharge until we reached our destination seems to be a major advantage of a bus tour. I highly recommend it to anyone in a similar situation. Thanks to the guide's flexible management of the itinerary, adapting to crowds and on-site conditions at each attraction, we were able to enjoy a very relaxed viewing experience. My mother has some knee discomfort, and she and my sister fell a bit behind, so I was grateful for the guide's consideration. The historical explanations, which I wouldn't have known if I had gone alone, made the trip even more interesting. We also looked at the photos the guide took of us as a family and promised to go again. It was also fascinating to meet someone from my home country in Japan, and forming a new connection with a solo traveler from the United States was another enjoyable memory.
Absolutely! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Kyoto Tour Experience! We had such a wonderful time on our Kyoto tour! Everything was well organised, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we got to see and appreciate the best parts of Kyoto. The sights were absolutely beautiful, and we learned so much about the history and culture of the city along the way. The tour was well-paced, which made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we would happily book with them again. 🇯🇵❤️ Jo is very also helpful to us and the team the entire time especially when we have a toddler which can be very challenging but still a great experience!!!
I went on a solo trip to Kyoto and Nara, and although it was only one day, I took in so much. The endless red torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine made me feel like I was in another world the whole time I was walking, and the view of Kyoto from Kiyomizu-dera was a sight that needs no explanation. The quiet temple of Uji Byodo-in gave me the impression that it connected the past and the present in its quiet beauty. The moments when I made eye contact with the deer at Nara Park were truly special. I traveled in a private vehicle, which was less physically demanding, and thanks to that, I was able to focus more on the appreciation. The guide’s explanations were not just information, but a bridge that connected me to the place. I was alone, but I didn’t feel alone for a day. The scenery and even the air were vivid memories. If you don’t have much time, I highly recommend this tour.
This is a tour package for Kyoto and Nara, near Osaka, Japan. It was a trip for a family of four (two seniors, a couple), and we were worried it might be too strenuous for the seniors, but it turned out to be fine. Thanks to the thoughtful consideration and excellent guidance of our guide, Ruri-chan, we were able to enjoy the tour thoroughly, and it was a very fun day. The package is well-structured, covering the key highlights of Kyoto and Nara. The time management was excellent, and our guide, Ruri-chan, was wonderful. Ruri-chan's laughter and smile are truly the best in Japan. Our entire family is extremely satisfied with this tour package.
It was such a nice experience in Kyoto and Nara. The tour was ontime and smooth. I had a great time in exploring Nara park in the morning with less crowd. Jin the tour guide was really informative and make sure everyone safe. He also gave best recommendations for lunch and dessert while in Uji. Thank you very much!
It was our first trip to Japan with the kids, so we went with a mix of excitement and worry, but thanks to the bus tour, it was a very satisfying day. In particular, the guide's calm and informative explanations were great. If we had traveled from Osaka to Kyoto and Nara by subway, it would have taken a lot of travel time and we would have struggled to find our way, but being conveniently transported by bus allowed us to sleep during the travel time and recharge our energy. The kids were most satisfied with Nara Park. They were happy to see and touch the deer up close and to buy and feed them crackers. Fushimi Inari Shrine had beautiful colors, so the photos turned out really well. There were many bus tour groups at each destination, so it was crowded, but I felt that it was a good decision to take the bus tour and we had a satisfying day. Highly recommend it!^^
