Reviews
Reviews summaryI had really fun on this tour and I feel like for the price that I paid, I got to do a lot of the must-sees in Japan. The tour guide, which I forgot his name 🥲, was really funny and engaging. He offered to take photos for each group and he knew how to speak English, Chinese, and Japanese. Also, I'm glad that I was able to upgrade to have a lunch even though I didn't originally buy it through Klook. I feel like if I didn't have food reserved before, I would have spent less time in one of the areas. Overall, I would definitely do this tour again in the future.
It was what I expected from the itinerary details. Went to the Nara Park where there were lots of deer. Further down the park are shrines and temple for one to explore. By accident, we were in the Himuro Shrine near Todaiji temple. It was first time for me to see a weeping cherry tree then with blossoms in full bloom! Our next stop was Kobe beef sukiyaki lunch at Kyoto Wasabi Arashimaya store. The beef was verrrry tender and melted in our mouths! our next stop was Arashimaya lush bamboo forest. refreshing sight and enjoyed the stillness of the place. The Kinkakuji Temple, even though Ive seen this twice before is still amazing! our next stop was the Inari Fushimi Shrine. we ttied to reach the top passing through the torii gates but the clumb was long it's not advisable for seniors like me. Our tour guide Myke was very accommodating and gave many information and tips about the places we went to. The drop off was no longer the original one but 15 mins away from namba station.
Perfectly timed itinerary and our guide Koji was friendly. The tour covered the must see spots in Kyoto and Nara. At Nara the itinerary only includes either deer park or giant Buddha, but if you can walk fast you can cover both. we had sufficient time for photos, snacks and souvenirs in each spot. Tenryu-ji and kimono forest weren’t covered in the itinerary although it was mentioned
Our guide Gary’s was really helpful and informative! Enjoyed the sukiyaki lunch so much! just that the itineraries a bit packed and quite rushing as well! However we were felt grateful for the sunny days and able to see the Sakura!
My Kyoto and Nara tour was unforgettable, thabks to the best tour guide (sorry forgot his name 😔) His energy and funny jokes kept us laughing the whole day. Incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to every detail, from crowd-free photo spots to perfect timing. To top it off, he went above and beyond by guiding us all the to Dotonbori afterward ( shortcut from the VIP Villa Namba) so we wouldn't get lost. Ultimate omotenashi!
Mike is a great guide. Very informative and knowledgeable about the history of the area. Lunch was bloody delicious. It’s a big day, so make sure you’ve got your comfy shoes on!!
The schedule is on time. The bus is spacious and clean. The driver is very good and Harry is an exceptional guide. He explains the history (plus legends & trivia) of the places and is friendly to everyone. We visited 4 places and had enough time to enjoy each stop, buy food & souvenirs. Highly recommended as a solo traveller.
Definitely a jam packed day! If you’re being picked up in Osaka, there’s about an hour drive to pick up people in Kyoto before you officially start your trip and also an hour between dropping people off in Kyoto and returning to Osaka. We went in November, so the sun sets pretty early, and when we went to Fushimi Inari shrine it was dark and all the stores were closing or already closed. on the plus side, it wasn’t very crowded! Also on the plus side, we visited SO many things in one day and did a lot, so I feel like we got a lot of sightseeing and figuring out transportation and tickets for each area out of the way in one day! Woukd definitely recommend, but wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and DEFINITELY opt in for the Kobe beef lunch option! it was DELICIOUS and was one of our best meals in Japan!
The tour was good, well-organized, and on time. We just experienced a problem at the beginning when my name was not on the list and there was some confusion while asking one of the guides about it. Thankfully, customer service was helpful and responsive when I escalated the concern. Our tour guide, Nick, was very good and made the experience enjoyable overall.
We enjoyed our Nara & Kyoto day tour so much. The shabu shabu was delicious and the spots they bring us to visit are all fantastic spots, not just great for photo taking but also to enjoy as a family. We had 2 guides in he bus which is great. Both Paulo and Mr Liu are great guides and explained the history of each places well. Overall is great and highly recommend.
