- Arashiyama Scenic Railway Operating Hours: During peak season (cherry blossom season March 15 - April 8, autumn foliage season first week of October and November, summer vacation August 10 - August 18), it operates daily; during off-peak season, it is closed every Wednesday, and during winter (January - February), it is suspended.
- Scenic Railway Ticket Purchase Guide: For peak season travel, please be sure to purchase round-trip tickets from "Sagano to Kameoka" on the official website at least 1 month in advance; during off-peak season, the guide can assist with on-site ticket purchases. Guests planning to take the scenic railway are advised to purchase a scenic railway package directly, or contact customer service in advance to discuss ticket purchase matters, in order to better coordinate your itinerary.
- Alternative Arashiyama Activities: If you do not take the scenic railway, you can still slow down, leisurely stroll through Arashiyama, and fully enjoy its unique charm of natural scenery, special cuisine, ancient temples and gardens, and interesting shops.
