Kyoto by the Sea: Amanohashidate & Ine no Funaya Bus Tour from Osaka

I recently went on the Ine no Funaya, Amanohashidate, and HIRYUKAN bus tour, and it was an incredibly satisfying trip, far exceeding my expectations. Most importantly, thanks to our guide, Jo Jun-young, the trip was much more enjoyable and comfortable. During our travels, he didn't just explain the tourist spots; he also shared fascinating information about Japanese regional culture, history, local restaurants, and travel tips, making even the travel time engaging. His schedule management was particularly excellent, and he guided us efficiently through crowded tourist areas, allowing us to explore comfortably. His kind and thorough answers to every question truly showed his professionalism. The tranquil and atmospheric scenery of Ine no Funaya was wonderful, and the breathtaking views from Amanohashidate and HIRYUKAN are still vivid in my memory. It was my first time visiting these areas, and thanks to our excellent guide, it became an even more special memory. If I ever take another bus tour in Japan, I would love to join a tour led by Jo Jun-young again. Thank you so much for making it such a wonderful trip!

I hastily booked this tour just a day before, and in conclusion, I was extremely satisfied! I'm so grateful to Guide Jo Jun-young for being incredibly kind and meticulously taking care of all the travelers. 😊 It was also great that the tour was small-group, allowing us to enjoy it quietly and leisurely. Plus, the weather was perfect, so I even got several once-in-a-lifetime photos! 👍 If you're coming to Osaka, I highly recommend taking a day to participate in this tour!

Our trip included Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three most scenic views, and a visit to the fishing village of Ine. It was a trip for a family of four (two seniors, one couple), and we chose it as a quiet getaway from the city. It was an excellent choice. After visiting crowded places like Dotonbori, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Fushimi Inari Shrine, this is definitely a place worth seeing. Minami's explanations are incredibly informative. Her descriptions of Japanese culture and history are excellent. You'd be lucky to have Minami as your guide.

We had a cozy trip with guide Jo Jun-yeong and a small group of only 8 people: 3 of us, 3 Koreans, and 2 Indonesians. Thanks to the kind guide, my parents loved it, and he even recommended a delicious restaurant for lunch where we enjoyed a Japanese-style shrimp curry, salad, and tea set with a comfortable view of the sea ^^. Seagulls were sitting on the water boats, and there was also a 250-year-old traditional brewery, so I bought a bottle of sake as a souvenir. Thank you for making such pleasant memories! The travel time is a bit long, about 6 hours round trip, but it was quiet and nice. There are only about 230 stilt houses left in this quiet neighborhood. If you come to Osaka with plenty of time, it's a good place to visit!

It was too far from Osaka, and I didn't feel comfortable going alone, so I booked a day tour and am leaving a review now! I'm on my way back to Osaka after the tour, and I probably wouldn't write a review once I'm back in Osaka or Korea, so I'm doing it quickly. Amanohashidate & Ine no Funaya were absolutely wonderful! Other people who booked canceled due to poor health, so I had a private guide all to myself. Guide Jo Jun-young was incredibly kind and explained everything at each stop, taking photos for me, making my solo trip completely comfortable. It was truly touching! Kyoto and Osaka are great, even though they're busy, but definitely take a day to explore this area too. Guide Jo Jun-young even offered to look into things unrelated to this trip, and I feel like I made a friend who lives in Japan! It was a delightful trip!

The highlight of this trip was definitely Inehunaya. It was a long journey, a 6-hour round trip, and I don't think I would have even considered going if it weren't for the tour. I'll also remember feeding shrimp crackers to the seagulls and hawks from the boat. Our tour group wasn't very large, but because there were fewer people, the guidance and instructions were excellent, and we could move quickly, allowing us to enjoy the sights leisurely during less crowded times. I'd like to express my gratitude to Guide Junyeong once again.

I found this tour while looking for a way to take in beautiful scenery before heading home! It was even better than I expected ☺️. I think it was better because we had a small group. If there had been a lot of people on the tour, it probably would have been chaotic, but it was great to be able to hear detailed explanations from the guide about photo spots and the area. Even in the hot weather, Guide Jo Jun-young took photos of everyone on the tour (honestly, I didn't expect it, but he takes really great pictures!!), guided us kindly, and paid a lot of attention to us, which made the trip more comfortable! I asked if there were any good restaurants in Osaka where I could eat alone, and he sent me a whole list, haha. Thank you so much ٩(♡▽♡ )۶ I'd love to travel with the guide again on my next trip 😃

Thanks to Guide Kyung and Kyongkyong, we had a very fulfilling visit to both places. I enjoyed their excellent storytelling and clear explanations of the history of both cities. I was also grateful that they took separate photos for each family and sent them via KakaoTalk. The curry they recommended for lunch was delicious. I wish you continued success!

During my second trip to Osaka with friends, we were looking for unique destinations and decided to book this Northern Kyoto Tour. It was a truly satisfying experience that I don't regret at all. Amanohashidate and Ine no Funaya are relatively far apart, making it difficult to access them by public transportation. However, the dedicated bus allowed us to rest during the journey, which minimized fatigue. Above all, our guide, Isoae, kindly explained how to approach each destination to maximize our enjoyment, making it a more relaxed and pleasant experience. She also kindly answered our various inquiries and even took photos for us, making it a satisfying and grateful trip in every way. Thank you.

it was a wonderful trip! Our guide Yuri was very friendly, organized and funny! we had a wonderful time! Ine was so beautiful, we wished to have more time there, but then again, no time is enough if you eventually have to leave again :) Thank you Yuri for your kind manner and recommendations, we really appreciate it!
