- 🌸Today we will visit a total of 2 attractions. Departing from Osaka or Kyoto to Amanohashidate and Ine no Funaya, it will be a fulfilling itinerary, starting now!🌸
- First stop: 🌊Amanohashidate. "Amanohashidate" in Miyazu Bay on the Sea of Japan is one of the special places known as the "Three Views of Japan," along with "Matsushima" in Mutsu and "Miyajima" in Aki🌈. Its shape resembles a bridge stretching diagonally towards the sky 🌉, hence the name "Amanohashidate." Because it is located at the intersection of Asoumi Bay and Miyazu Bay in the Sea of Japan, you can not only enjoy the pure natural scenery but also have a panoramic view of the vast sea 🌊. On Mount Monju, there is an observatory where you can view Amanohashidate. There is a cable car and recreational facilities for all ages on the mountain. Amanohashidate, as seen from here, looks like a dragon flying into the sky, so it is called "Hiryukan." Here, you can see a vibrant and energetic view of Amanohashidate.
- Second stop: 🏕️Ine no Funaya. [Ine Village] is rated as one of the 18 most beautiful villages in Japan by the Japanese and is known as Kyoto’s last hidden gem, nicknamed the “Venice of Japan.” Its unique waterfront boathouse architecture allows you to experience pristine scenery not found in tourist destinations. There are approximately 230 boathouses along the 5 km coastline of Ine Bay facing south, and people still coexist with the sea in front of them. The clear and beautiful sea 🌅, the deep green mountains 🏞️, the rapidly changing sky colors, and the colors of the boathouse buildings representing the Japanese style, etc. This is the pure natural color that can only be experienced in Ine Town. The fishing village is located along the coast, far from the hustle and bustle, full of simple purity. You can also experience a boat tour 🛶 at your own expense, which takes about 25 minutes to tour Ine Bay, and you can also feed the seagulls 🕊️. From the deck on the 2nd floor, you can enjoy the scenery of the boathouses and feel a special time with your family. 🎉These attractions are unique and constitute a rich and colorful day trip to the hidden gems of Kyoto. Whether it is natural beauty or cultural experience, you will gain many wonderful memories. Join us to explore the charm of Kyoto and share this joy!🎉

Reviews
I really wanted to visit Ine Funaya, so I made a reservation! Our guide was Mr. Goomun-gil, who spoke excellent Korean and was also very fluent in Chinese! Most importantly, he was incredibly kind and genuinely seemed to want to help us enjoy the rest of our trip. The package overall was well-organized, and there was quite a bit of travel time! We slept through it, so it was fine, haha. The weather was often gloomy, with rain followed by sunshine, but it felt like a Totoro forest and was very atmospheric. Luckily, the weather brightened up when we arrived at Ine Funaya, which I was most looking forward to, so we enjoyed sightseeing. And on the way to board the cruise, we drove along the coastal road, and the sunset there was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience the charm of a small coastal village!
Great tour! I highly recommend adding this to your trip. I loved our tour guide she was very helpful. I recommend going to the meet up point at least 15 minutes early because there are a lot of busses (osaka) and tours at the same time. We had plenty of time at each location. If you're vegetarian I recommend bringing your own meal as there aren't many options at the stops. The chair lift is a fun experience but give yourself time to explore the sandbar below as well. After the boat tour there is a boathouse in the village you can go on the first floor for ¥300 great photo spot on the cement blocks at the end.
I highly recommend this one day tour to Amanohashidate. one of a kind view experience of Japan countryside. The views are stunning. No wonder the place is called Venice of Japan. our tout operator Liu was very helpful throughout the day. He ensured to coordinate us to each destinations on time. I recommend Liu😊
It is such lovely experience! we had our guide Andrew! He is very cheerful and informative, the journey never bored at all and smooth :) He was so helpful and considerate person, never raise his voice like the other tour guide we bumped during our trip. Overall the trip was wonderful and unforgettable :)
thank you to our Tourguide EIGAI very helpful and knowledgeable plus can speak three languages ENGLISH , JAPANESE , CHINESE. amanohashidate tour is very great deal laidback scenery 🏞️historical area to visit.
The tour overall was good and exactly what you pay for! I was really worried about choosing the right tour because I read many horror reviews of other tours so I hope this detailed review is helpful for others!! Getting the confirmation: I got an email and WhatsApp message from my tour guide, Liu the night before the tour (around 6pm), confirming the time and location of the meet up. Language: my tour guide spoke English but with an accent. I could understand him completely but my parents whose English is their 2nd language could not. On the bus: the tour guide helped book the boat ride and chair lift for those who wanted to experience it! So it was very helpful (could only pay by cash). There was also 1 toilet break each going and coming back! You can eat snacks and drink on the bus but no hot drinks and ice cream. Ine fishing village: we had 1.5hrs (1hr free time + 30mins boat ride) there and it was just enough time to go to the ine cafe, order some drinks and lunch, take some photos and enjoy the view. It would have been better if there was more time allocated but we were still able to do everything we wanted. Also the poke bowl at the ine cafe was really fresh so would recommend getting it. The boat ride was okay and was mainly to see the birds come down to eat the snacks (that you can buy for 100yen). Amanohashidate: THIS WAS SOOO GOOD!! Honestly better than ine so spending 2hrs here was worth it (honestly could spend the whole day exploring)! You can go up a mountain to get the views of the place via car cable or a chair lift. I’m terrified of heights but going on the chair lift was not bad at all because it goes very slowly! So would recommend for the views and experience!! There is a souvenir store, temple and beach area to explore! Overall I loved the tour! It was a really good experience and I would recommend!
the trip is relatively relaxed for clients staying in Kyoto since it departs rather late. the tour takes tourists to coastal regions of Japan to see a coastal line and a a fishing village. the bus is new. the guide is nice
I was on the day trip alone and my guide Jay was accommodating and fun! he’s detailed with the pick up information and activities, knowledgeable about the places we were visiting and humorous. overall enjoyable trip even as a solo traveller 😊😊
I enjoyed this tour so much. it is one of the highlight of my Japan trip. The view is so spectacular. i would like to thank our tour guide Jay, the day before, he sent instructions on how to get to the pick up point and the bus number which is very very helpful. He also gave tips on do's and Dont to Japan. He is very helpful. Though, the sea gulls did not come near us, we did nit experience the bird feeding so its a prank hahaha and also, the time spent Amanohasidate is I think too long and the other 2 is just 30 mins each.
The tour guide Zheng Chengjun is very good and professional. He speaks Chinese and translates Korean to Koreans at the same time. Any questions are responded or handled immediately. 👍👍👍. I thought it would rain that day, but the weather was unexpectedly good. It was great! The Amanohashidate Cable Car was really fun. There is a small park on the mountain where you can purchase additional experiences. However, the time was too short. We only had enough time to have lunch, take photos, and ride an aerial bike, so we couldn't go anywhere else. Feeding seagulls on the Ine Funaya cruise is also an interesting itinerary worth experiencing.
