Very nice one-day trip. Reach to many beautiful famous spots. Appreciate our tour guide (Iris) for her information provided and her friendliness. Unfortunately we join the trip during typhoon so we did not go to Yeliou. However, we went to Heping instead which is also beautiful.

This tour is super worth it! Although time is a little short in each stop, the convenience of not having to transfer to a different bus or train makes it worth the while especially for us who are first time visitors. Our tour guide Mr. Cheney Cheng is very approachable and guided us well! Highly recommended for people who have trouble with directions and navigation as well as those with kids, elderly, and people with disability.

One of our group day-tours got cancelled, but we were still able to go to Taipei 101 since we reserved tickets. This was one the highlights of our trip to Taiwan. The tower itself is more beautiful and magnificent in person. Even looking up at it from the street was such a sight to see. YouTube videos and postcards do not do it justice. We had access to the 89th Obseravatory Floor and it was worth it. We were able to get pictures prior to getting on the elevator. The 89th floor offered 360 degree views of Taipei and it was glorious. We were there around 5:45 to 6:45 pm and that was perfect for a golden sunset. The floor had a flux of photogenic backgrounds and props, some adorable cafes and treats, a souvenir shop, the Tuned Mass Dumper section, and the elevators to go up and down the tower. This was an unforgettable experience and easily topped some of my prior tower visits in the USA.

Taipei Zoo & Maokong Gondola Combo Review Combining the Taipei Zoo with the Maokong Gondola was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Taipei, offering incredible value and seamless booking. We started our morning exploring the zoo’s massive, lush grounds—getting up close with the giant pandas and walking through the impressive Pangolin Dome rainforest. Booking through Klook made entry effortless, letting us skip the main ticket lines using a quick QR code scan, which saved us so much time on a busy day. Right from inside the zoo, we boarded the Maokong Gondola. The 30-minute ride provided breathtaking, panoramic views over the lush mountain canopy and the distant Taipei 101 skyline. Ending the trip with a relaxed pot of local Tieguanyin oolong tea and tea-flavored ice cream at a hillside teahouse made for the perfect afternoon escape from the bustling city center. A must-do experience for families, couples, and solo travelers alike!

Good place to spend a whole day. start from the top and work your way down. the collection is ordered from earliest period on the top floor, and later pieces on lower floors. public transport to get there is easy and cheaper then the sight seeing bus. there are so many pieces there you might want to come another day to see the rest. Do eat before coming here as there is only a small cafe that is constantly crowded. Besides their most popular pieces that people seem to like to view, you will find other pieces you will like I found the gate cups to be the ones I prefer over the popular pieces.

Booking our tickets online right before entering Taipei Zoo turned out to be a great move, as paying in PHP was noticeably cheaper than purchasing directly in NTD at the gate. The zoo grounds are massive, beautifully maintained, and offer incredible value, but timing is everything when visiting. Arriving at 1:00 PM already put us on a tight schedule, and an unexpected two-hour rainstorm completely stalled our plans. Because of the weather delay and the sheer size of the park, we weren't able to explore the entire zoo, but we definitely plan to visit again on our next trip to Taipei. For anyone planning a visit, I strongly recommend buying your tickets online in advance for the best rate, arriving right when the park opens, and packing umbrellas so a sudden downpour won't cut your day short.

August 23, 2026 (Sunday) Two years ago, when we visited, it was a sunny day. Today, the weather was very cool, with a light drizzle. However, because of the rain, the roller coaster was temporarily closed, which was a shame because we didn't get to ride it. We rode the Jungle Roar Treehouse (free fall), the pirate ship, the spinning teacups, the Galaxy Express (monorail), the Ferris wheel, the Happy Bumper Cars, and the Space Gyro. It was truly worth the price of admission! My most memorable experience was riding the pirate ship; it was actually very comfortable, and my daughter and I rode it twice. My son was glued to the sandbox and spent an hour and a half there. 😅 We didn't leave until it got dark (6:30 PM), and it was hard to say goodbye.

My first time attending an architecture-related exhibition – mission accomplished! It was a good experience. Buying tickets on Klook was convenient, and as a member, I received a discount. It also saved time, allowing me to enter directly. There happened to be a guided tour available, which helped me better understand the architectural design ideas and concepts. Mr. Fujimoto's famous work is the World Expo. After seeing the exhibition, I feel like I should definitely visit it if I get the chance!

Wow! So many huge dinosaurs, and each one moves! It's like being transported back to the Jurassic era. The kids had a blast, and the adults were all amazed, wishing they could have experienced something like this as children. Buying tickets online through Klook is super convenient; you can use them right away.

What to know before visiting Taipei

What to expect in Taipei

This Things to Do collection is led by Events & shows, then Tours, Massages, Observation decks and Museums, so you’ll find a mix of live entertainment, guided experiences and wellness options to cover different trip styles. That spread means Taipei works for short city breaks that pack varied activities and for longer stays where you can add slower museum visits or a massage. Demand peaks in March and eases to its quietest in July, so March sees the busiest booking activity while July is the calmest month for the same experiences.

How to choose what to book

Your main decision is whether you want breadth or a focused experience: the category with the widest price range is Massages, with a typical price around PHP 2,022 and entry-level offers from PHP 1,011 to upper-end options at PHP 3,033, so it suits travellers who want anything from a quick, affordable session to a premium spa treatment. Events & shows give a wide selection of ticketed performances and are led by a clear typical price around PHP 892, while Museums are the most affordable way in for filling gaps at PHP 476 typical.

If you’re price-shopping, Tours sit in the mid-to-upper band with a typical price near PHP 1,427, and Observation decks and Events & shows hover in the mid-range so there’s limited benefit to hunting for small price differences; choosing by style and convenience will often matter more than chasing minor savings. The widest range in Massages means you can trade up for a luxury experience or keep costs low without changing category.

When travellers from the Philippines book

Most travellers book close to departure: the typical lead time is 2 days ahead, while the earliest planners book about 10 days ahead. That means plan on booking within a week or so for most activities, though giving yourself a bit more cushion matters during the peak month of March when demand rises.

How prices compare

The table below shows how Taipei’s top categories compare on price so you can place a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Events & shows PHP 892 PHP 595 – 1,606
Tours PHP 1,427 PHP 1,308 – 1,903
Massages PHP 2,022 PHP 1,011 – 3,033
Observation decks PHP 1,070 PHP 951 – 1,665
Museums PHP 476 PHP 238 – 654

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
