    The Fuji Excursion Train is a limited express service operated by Japan Rail that offers a direct ride from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to Fuji-Q Highland Station, before terminating at Kawaguchiko Station. This direct train journey takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. There are four trains daily starting from Shinjuku in the morning, and there are four return trains from Fuji-Q Highland Station in the afternoons.

    In addition to the Fuji Excursion Train, visitors can also take express trains to Otsuki or Kawaguchiko Station and then transfer to the Fujikyuko Line to Fuji-Q Highland Station. The train journey from Otsuki will take approximately 50 minutes, while it's only a 5-minute ride from Kawaguchiko Station. There are a variety of express and local trains operating along this route daily, so you can simply hop on any of them.

    If you're planning a day trip to Fuji-Q Highland, you can also consider hopping on the Fuji-Q Liner bus service from outside Shinjuku Station that departs daily at 7am. The bus journey will take under 2 hours and will allow you to spend around 9 hours at the park, before departing at 6pm back to Shinjuku.

    Getting to Fuji-Q Highland by Car

    If you prefer the convenience and flexibility of driving, getting to Fuji-Q Highland by car is a great option. The park is approximately a 100-minute drive from Tokyo via the Chuo Expressway. Take the Kawaguchiko IC exit and follow the signs to Fuji-Q Highland, which is just a short 3.5 km drive from the exit. There is ample parking available at the park, with a daily parking fee of ¥1,500 to ¥2,000 depending on seasonality.

    There is also an Afternoon Pass available that will allow you to enter at 2pm daily and covers unlimited rides as well. However, this would mean you will have only 3 to 4 hours to explore and play, depending on the day of the visit. Adult tickets are available at ¥5,200.
