Finally, local tourism is starting to get back on its feet after almost two years of heavily regulated lockdowns by reopening premiere destinations for fully vaccinated tourists! Within the Philippines, here are eight locations now available for you to visit, with no RT-PCR tests required! Just make sure to bring your vaccination card or vaccination certificate ready at all times in your beach bag!
*Note: These destinations are for fully-vaccinated travelers who are able to present vaccination documents along with other travel requirements.
1. Batangas
We all crave to travel, but Batangas affirms the fact that you don’t need to go far to enjoy new experiences. This Southern Tagalog destination is known for its beaches — from the white sand beaches of Nasugbu to the diving spots of Anilao. While in the area, make sure you try its famed Kapeng Barako and Loming Batangas.

2. Camarines Sur
Taking it a bit down South of Luzon, CamSur is also reopening its borders for tourists! If you’re interested in a more adventurous route, you can explore natural wonders like visiting any one of the twelve waterfalls found at the Mount Labo Watershed or explore centuries-old churches of the province!

3. El Nido
Anything to do with Palawan, we’ll always say yes to and El Nido is no exception. Explore different beaches and find your sweet spot because this vacation hotspot boasts azure waters and natural landscapes that will definitely take your mind of the bustling city life for as long as you let it. 4. Dumaguete
Don’t have Dumaguete on your travel bucket list? It’s time to include it. Aside from feeling at ease in this city dubbed ‘The City of Gentle People’, you’ll also enjoy discovering a variety of experiences here. Whether you’re a history junkie (visit the Silliman University) or someone who loves marveling at marine life (take a dive at Apo Island), you’ll find something memorable to do here.

5. Guimaras
If you haven’t frolicked at the beaches of Guimaras yet, this is your sign to book a trip and make it happen. Guisi, Tatlong Pulo, and Alubihod are just a few of the many pristine destinations to have on your list. Also, did you know the province has windmills too?

6. Bohol
Yes, we’re wide-eyed as a tarsier too when we found out Bohol is also reopening! But we can’t wait to take you on a cruise through Loboc River, or to see the Chocolate Hills! Explore the City of Friendship, Tagbiliran which harbors local encounters that are worth a lifetime of memories. Either way, we’re ready to explore it again soon!

7. Samal Island
Last but not the least, the largest resort city in the country joins our travel list.
