What to expect
Japan is famous for its hot springs, which are a pleasure to experience. Hoheikyo Onsen is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, as it offers a chance to soak in hot springs while admiring the snow-covered landscape. Hoheikyo Onsen is a sodium calcium bicarbonate chloride natural hot spring. It is a 100% natural hot spring that comes directly from the source. It's also called "beautiful skin water" because it leaves the skin smooth, fresh, and moisturized. As it is located a bit far from Sapporo city, it can be difficult to get to, but this plan includes a private taxi pick-up that will save you from driving on snow-covered roads. You can spend a relaxing 2 hours at the onsen, where you can enjoy not only the soothing water but also local specialities such as curry and soba noodles.

Reviews
The driver was nice and was on time. The driving was smooth also. The Onsen was fantastic, the highlight of my trip this time. It was snowing and I could have the hot spring while it snowed. Awesome! Would recommend it.
Mr. Nakamura is very accommodating. The trip was smooth and the onsen is super relaxing! You should definitely try this!
The whole package, whether it is the hot spring itself or the driver who picked us up on Lucheng, gave us a very good experience. We booked a five-day itinerary on this platform. So far, it has been three days, and all the transfers have been very smooth. The local Japanese service staff speak Japanese, and their English may not be very good, so the communication with us is not very smooth, but their attitude is very good. Basically, they are more considerate and tolerant, and they can understand what the other party means. Then, the hot spring itself is really great. It is not large in scale, but the open-air hot spring gives people a very good experience, especially soaking in the hot spring in the heavy snow, and then rubbing my back with snow. This experience was my first time and it left a very deep impression.
On the third day of my trip, the Otaru one-day bus tour was suddenly canceled, so I had to go to the Hoheikyo Onsen experience in a hurry. I went to the pick-up location 10 minutes before the pick-up time, and the taxi driver was standing there holding a sign with my name on it, so I was able to easily catch the pick-up taxi and enjoy the snow on the way there. Needless to say, the hot spring was really great, and the curry and bread sold at the restaurant there were really delicious. You should definitely try them because they added bread. Everything was great. The only regret is that the 2-hour stay in the hot spring was a little short. It would have been nice to stay all day. But the hot spring experience was really great.
Very good experience, the driver uncle is super nice, the service attitude is very professional, and he helped us arrange it at the hot spring counter before leaving. The hot spring is so comfortable, and the snow scenery of the outdoor hot spring pool is beautiful. I really like it here!
Sapporo Hoheikyo Hot Spring Experience (with private transfer), highly recommended, private transfer at the hotel entrance directly to the hot spring ♨️
First of all, the transportation problem was solved. The package included round-trip transportation. The drivers were all local Sapporo, Japan. The elderly gentleman was very nice and punctual. Next was the hot spring. Although the hot spring itself was small, it was very unique, especially the open-air hot spring. When we went there, it happened to be a blizzard on the first day of February. When we went there again the next day, it was still snowing, but it was really comfortable. The outdoor hot spring was 40 degrees. Soaking in the hot spring, and then taking the powder blood to rub your back and arms, it felt really good and the experience was very good.
The taxi driver who took me to the hot spring was so kind and nice. I think we talked for the entire two hours there and back. I've been to expensive hot springs in Yufuin and Hakone, but I think Hoheikyo Hot Spring was the best today. Bathing in an open-air hot spring with snow falling in the winter was a truly unique experience. I bathed for an hour and ate curry at a restaurant for an hour, which seemed like a reasonable amount of time. I was surprised by how big the eggs in the curry were. The taste was good and I was full.
The trip was smooth, the driver contacted and picked up on time, it was very convenient and clear, the special hot spring experience with charming scenery, a wonderful itinerary for the whole family
It is considered a good onsen place and the weather and atmosphere are good. There are rice shops and grill shops. Overall, worth coming again.
