Reviews summaryIt was a discounted card, and besides visiting many attractions in Taipei, I also experienced a unique Taiwanese Bag DIY activity.Had so much fun doing this! It's awesome being able to make your one-of-a-kind bag. Everyone working there was incredibly nice, and the place is so cozy and clean~~! The staff explained that this is an exclusive experience for Taipei FunPASS, and it's absolutely fantastic!!!
My friends and I had a blast exploring Taipei using the Taipei FunPASS! I never expected to be able to make a 'Jia-Zhi' bag by hand, and it was genuinely so much fun. According to the staff, this experience is currently exclusive to Taipei FunPASS users. I'm so glad we made the trip all the way to Dadaocheng! The location is on the second floor of 'Taiwan Story' in Dadaocheng. You can redeem your experience using the Taipei FunPASS. The shop was very cozy, and the air conditioning made it comfortable. Plus, there were so many cute decorative parts that I ended up paying extra to decorate my own 'Jia-Zhi' bag (laughs). I got to create my very own original 'Jia-Zhi' bag, and the finished product is absolutely adorable! Afterward, we also went to Ximending to redeem some gifts, and I realized that the Taipei FunPASS isn't just convenient, but it also offers really enjoyable experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Taipei in a slightly different and fun way!
I was curious about FunLAB, which I'd heard about, so I decided to visit. It was so much fun choosing from the wide variety of designs and parts, and deciding how to combine them! 😊 The staff were also very kind and patiently taught me how to make the bag and offered recommendations. The finished bag turned out even better than I imagined, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! ✨ Since it's a one-of-a-kind bag that I designed myself, I've grown quite fond of it, and it's become a wonderful souvenir from my trip to Taiwan 🫶 I still use the finished bag to this day! 😊
We availed the two-day pass since 4D4N lang kami sa sa Taiwan. Kung gagamit kayo nito, make sure to read the instructions and plan your travel wisely!
experience: Save time with Taipei FunPASS! It covers unlimited MRT/bus rides, and let me join the super fun "Taiwnese Bag DIY Experience". Even better, after the DIY, you get a Dihua Street merchant gift pack filled with free coffee, snacks, and drinks. We walked away with hands full of free gifts!
user friendly even for us first timers in Taiwan 🇹🇼budget wise, so long as you’ll visit most of the spots included, this is a steal! it even has a suggested itinerary plus a map, make sure to get all the freebies included! the glasses are a cute souvenir 💜
The pass was great because it allowed unlimited rides on the MRT and buses, which I used many times. It also provides free entry to major tourist attractions, making it ideal for sightseeing. I think it's also good that you can visit Jiufen and Shifen. When planning a trip to Jiufen and Shifen, it's best to allocate a full day for travel due to the time it takes to get there. A free sky lantern release is included. Only one red lantern is free for your wish; if you pay an additional TWD 50, you can get a four-color lantern for an extra wish. One thing to note is that since my flight arrived at Taoyuan Airport after 7 PM, I couldn't pick up the pass before the closing time. For those who want to pick up the pass on the same day and start using it early the next morning, it would be beneficial if the pickup hours were extended later into the evening. Also, since pickup at Taipei Main Station starts at 9 AM, those who want to travel earlier might need to check the pickup times and plan their itinerary accordingly. It would be great if pickup were available earlier in the morning and later in the evening.
It's easy to claim at the airport; just follow the instructions and map for the location. It's worth it for those attractions with entrance fees. We only got the one-day pass, and it was successful; we managed to do everything within a day, as long as you start early. Here's the sequence of places we visited using this fun pass. Just plan your route well per area. Maybe our one-day itinerary can help you. From our hotel near Taipei Main Station to Tamsui (cruise at Fort San Domingo)---National Palace Museum---Miramar Ferris Wheel---Maokong Gondola---Taipei Zoo---then Taipei 101. It's really worth it. Just plan your route well, and you can do it all in one day. We left our hotel at 6:30 AM, and before 8 AM, we were already at Tamsui Old Street, eating there... enjoy!
I picked it up at at Songshan Airport information centre. The woman gave me around 4 different booklets about the card, a map, Taiwan food, and Taipei Old Streets. The card was super useful for public transport. I used it 13 times for the metro and 7 times for the bus. For attractions, I was able to go to National Palace Museum, Taipei 101, Maokong Gondola, DIY Tea Bag, Fort San Domingo, Chiang Kai Shek Shilin Residence, and Miramar Ferris Wheel. Overall, I was very pleased with the Fun Pass and it helped me plan my time and visit places I otherwise wouldn’t have gone to.
Comes with a mrt map, and booklet. We really enjoyed commuting thru trains and buses. Convenient entrances of the tourist spots. You have to be productive in order to maximize the usage of the pass. Bawal ka tamarin kasi sayang at ambilis ng 3 days. Madami kaming hindi pa napuntahan, na medyo nalungkot kami but gloomy weather kasi when we're in taiwan, medyo rainy din. But I think its sulit because we enjoyed the weather (cold) since yun talaga ang gusto kong maexperience.
