Din Tai Fung-Xiaolongbao

I pre-booked the set on Klook and visited the site. The waiting time was 80 minutes, but after scanning the Klook voucher, they helped me enter in a short time of about 40 minutes. I didn't have to wait long, looked around, and went in to eat right away. I think it was cucumber salad, but it was sold out, so they changed it to a different menu. The staff were very kind and there was even someone who spoke Korean, so I was able to eat without any inconvenience~ I definitely recommend purchasing in advance. The portions are also large.

The waiting time for this was only 10 minutes since we booked here in Klook. the food was served pretty quick, it was really good, everything was made fresh and the food kept coming. Make sure you line up and show the hostess your reservation, just wait for your number to be called and your table will be ready.

I thought it would take a while to get to Din Tai Fung, so I came to the Shinsheng branch at exactly 6pm. I showed the QR code to the staff member on duty, and they said to wait a bit, and then I was called right away. The system was very well done, and the steamers came out one after another at a good speed. The xiaolongbao, shumai, and dumplings were all delicious, and the fried rice and stir-fried water spinach were also crispy. I wanted to eat more taro xiaolongbao. I only stayed for an hour, but it was a delicious time that made me feel like I was in Taiwan.

I was so curious about Din Tai Fung that I made a reservation and went there~ I bought only two sets and wanted to order more of what I wanted to eat inside, but I couldn't communicate well with the employee who was taking the reservation, so it seemed like he was telling me that I couldn't go in. I was drenched in a cold sweat, but a kind interpreter was there for me and I was able to go in😅 Watching them make it was fun and eye-catching, and the food was so neat and delicious! If you like eggplant, you should definitely order this. It's so delicious!! The custard steamed buns in the picture are really delicious!! You should definitely try them!!

I went to the branch located on the first floor of a department store near Taipei 101. The department store opened at 11:00 AM, and there were people lining up in front of the entrance before it opened, so my family joined the line and waited to enter. We only purchased two adult sets, so we showed the voucher and told them that we would order additional items for our 7-year-old child inside. We were then shown to our seats. The set menu items seemed like samples, designed to let you taste a variety of things. After finishing the course, we requested a menu and received a Korean paper menu, which allowed us to easily order additional items and enjoy our meal!

I made a reservation and after waiting for 30 minutes, I was able to enter. It was a weekday, but there were many group tourists, so it was crowded and noisy. Maybe because my expectations were high, it wasn't like "Wow, it's so delicious." However, even though it was busy, there were many staff members, and they quickly brought us what we needed, so I was satisfied with the warm service. It was okay~ Taiwan seems clean and the people are quiet. We ate 4 sets of food, 2 sets of A and 2 complete sets, and it was a lot. You could feel the original flavor of each dumpling with each bite. The older kids loved the chocolate.

I booked the set for 2 with my friend. This is my first time to try Din Tai Fung in Taiwan and the food was really delicious! The service was great, too! We tasted various types of Xiaolongbao and we were so full to pack the fried rice back!

Din Tai Fung 101 ✨ Because it was Sunday, even with pre-purchased tickets, we waited for about 1 hour and 50 minutes. So we looked around the 101 Observatory first. As a result, we actually waited in line for about 30 minutes. There were a lot of people, but the table spacing was decent and there were plenty of staff, so there was no discomfort while eating. If you are Korean, I highly recommend the Shrimp and Pork Spicy Wontons. And the Taro Xiaolongbao is almost like mochi with red bean paste. I didn't know taro was such a delicious ingredient... I enjoyed the meal!

Din Tai Fung in Taipei 101 is a must visit but the wait is often over 90 minutes. we went on a weekday at lunch and it was 75 minutes but still crowded. Reservations are not available but the Klook reserved set menu cuts wait time significantly. We were told to come back in 30 minutes and our number was called about 10 minutes after. Our set menu had all the variety and we were able to easily order more at menu prices. I think the set menu is a bit pricier and the venue is very crowded but it’s worth a visit every time in Taipei.

I bought meal vouchers and went, but I had to wait for an hour because it was the weekend. I got a Din Tai Fung queue number, looked around the 101 Observatory, and came down to eat. If I had just gone without a voucher, I probably wouldn't have been able to get in. Buy meal vouchers and use them, especially on weekends. The shrimp fried rice and shrimp dumplings were delicious, and the cucumber kimchi and tea helped cut through the greasiness. There were a lot of options in set A.
