Asahiyama Zoo & Biei Blue Pond Day Tour

The one-day tour took a bus to Farm Tomita, Biei Blue Pond and Asahikawa Zoo, which was very efficient and convenient for non-self-driving tourists. The stay time at each attraction was just right, and the itinerary was well controlled without encountering serious traffic jams (Saturday at the end of June)

Farm Tomito: beautiful flowers. Biei Blue Pond: a unique blue colored pond. Asahiyama zoo: as it was raining, we were unable to explore the zoo, ended up at the restaurant and souvenir shop until it was time to leave.

When on vacation we do not like rushing. We want that we had adequate sleep and we enjoy our breakfast. This was the reason that we got this tour since the start is at 10:55 am (unlike other tours which usually starts at 7-8am).

Although most of the travel time (11/18) was spent by car, and I only went to Asahiyama Zoo and Aoike. It was suspected that there was heavy snow on the return trip and it was impossible to take the expressway, which caused a slight delay in returning to Sapporo, but overall I felt that the trip was worthwhile! The zoo allows you to view the animal landscapes in the water and on the shore from many angles, which is very beautiful! It's a pity that the stay of only two hours is a bit short. And Aoike 1700 will continuously change the light after lighting up, which is surprising! The tour guide will introduce the scenic spots in detail in Japanese, and also provide simple Chinese and English translations. There will be special reminders for foreigners when getting on the bus, which is very considerate~

I highly recommend this itinerary, which allows us to easily reach these hard-to-reach places. It is highly recommended for travelers who come to Sapporo for the first time and want to pick up some places to buy this itinerary. It can reduce a lot of trouble and make people feel at ease~

Asahikawa Zoo and Aoike are relatively remote and inconvenient to travel to, so joining this tour is the best choice for a self-guided trip to Hokkaido! Exactly on schedule with no delays.

I didn't receive any email notification from the tour guide. The wind and rain were so strong that my umbrella kept flipping over, and I was in no mood to do anything fun. It ruined my day! I sincerely suggest that the weather should be taken into consideration when deciding whether to run a tour!

The departure time is suitable for independent travelers who don’t want to get up early. There are few itineraries, and there are only two scenic spots, Asahikawa Zoo and Biei Town Aoike. Note that the meeting point of the zoo is at the east gate. I didn’t pay attention when I got off the bus and almost missed my trip. The tour guide explained it once in Japanese and English. He was very kind. It snowed lightly that day and the temperature was suitable for fun. It was a pleasant trip.

A good experience, seeing penguins up close, and many animals on the snow. The Japanese tour guide was very polite and took good care of every tourist.

it was a nice tour to the zoo and blue pond. very well organized and the coach bus is comfortable. one sad thing is some animals in the zoo don’t seem happy to me. the polar bear keeps walking back and forth. very skinny. the apes has to get food using a stick thru the cage. the blue pond is nice while it’s snowing.
