What to expect
Fuji Five Lakes 5th Station (approx. 40 minutes) (This is for itineraries between April 26th and November 30th, heading to Fuji Five Lakes 5th Station, without visiting Arakurayama Sengen Park)
[Fuji Five Lakes 5th Station] The 5th Station is located halfway up Mount Fuji, at an altitude of approximately 2,305 meters. As Japan’s highest peak, it offers distinct views whether seen from afar or up close. Standing at the observation point closest to Mount Fuji and looking up at the summit allows you to experience the overwhelming power. Must-see photo spot - Arakurayama Sengen Park (approx. 60 minutes) (This is for itineraries between December 1st and April 25th of the following year, heading to Arakurayama Sengen Park, without visiting Fuji Five Lakes 5th Station) Regarded as “One of the 21 photographic spots you must visit in your lifetime,” it is the best location to capture classic shots of Mount Fuji. In addition to the superb view of Mount Fuji, you can also overlook the cityscape of Fujiyoshida, making it a highly popular Instagram-worthy photo spot. Oshino Hakkai - “Little Guilin of Japan” at the foot of Mount Fuji (approx. 1 hour) [Oshino Hakkai] The so-called “Oshino Hakkai” are eight natural spring waters formed by the melting snow of Mount Fuji after being filtered through the strata. The crystal-clear water shimmers in the sunlight, reflecting the scenery of Mount Fuji, making it as beautiful as a painting.
