A quick stop at Yeti Resort for the snow sled before heading to the Gotemba Premium Outlet. plenty of opportunities to take photo of Mt Fuji at the resort and the outlet.
Our guide Ms Yui is friendly, helpful and explained our activities thoroughly. we had a good time and enjoyed all the activities - Mt Fuji 5th station, Gotemba outlet, cable car, pirate ship and Owaku valley. the driver is good and punctual.
Our group was lucky that Mt. Fuji was visible on the day of our tour. We had a great time at the sledding slope and were happy that we could have our own time to shop at the outlet stores. Many thanks to Gori and Toshi for being very kind and approachable throughout our morning.
we took the half-route option. just the nt fuji fifth station camp and gotten off the gotemba outlets. going up midway through Mt Fuji and seeing it more up close surprisingly doesn’t look as picturesque as it is from afar. if you were hoping for a magnificent sight seeing it closer, it’s going to be a bit disappointing and there aren’t that much photo opportunities and spots in that area at that time of day. I recommend doing this half-tour if it economically makes sense to you rather than taking a bus ride to gotemba outlets directly. because doing the half tour means you have to book your own bus ride back and I recommend booking that online in advance because they get filled up.
