Tokyo Mount Fuji Day Trip: Fruit Picking and Sightseeing Train

My guide LiuYan was very considerate. We were almost 90 minutes late for our meetup but she didn't opt to cancel even though there was a 10-minute policy. Overall ang sulit! Can't believe that was only around 5,000 PHP per person. We were on a private car with only 3 of us in the family. Our guide was only fluent in Chinese but she used a translation device that translated what she said in English. She didn't talk much throughout the tour but she explained thoroughly our next destination and what we can see there. She also took pictures every time we arrive at our destination. Overall, we didn't feel rushed with her smooth driving and I feel like we got so much money's worth considering it includes the fee for strawberry picking and the ticket for the scenic train.

The Fuji tour was a really enjoyable experience. The strawberry picking was a cute highlight, and unexpectedly it wasn’t crowded at all—the driver Bei did a great job arranging the schedule so we could go earlier and avoid the crowds. Although the itinerary felt a bit rushed at times, everything was well planned and we managed to complete all the activities on time. It also helped us avoid traffic jams, which made the overall experience smooth and efficient.

We truly enjoyed the trip—it felt extra special having the tour all to ourselves. The fruit-picking experience was a highlight, and Oishi Park was absolutely beautiful. A big thank you to our guide Wen for going the extra mile and keeping everything on schedule.

It's my first time on a chartered car tour with no one else, a pretty fresh experience. The driver/guide really works hard driving. We arrived at our destination quickly without traffic. The only downside is that the clouds were too thick today and we couldn't see Mount Fuji, so that's a bit of a shame. When it was time to eat, I didn't want to eat at that restaurant, and when I told the guide I wanted local food, they took me to a very good place to eat. The recommended lavender ice cream was also quite delicious. Strawberry picking was a little disappointing, the strawberries weren't sweet enough, and there weren't many edible ones, almost all of them were already eaten! The itinerary went smoothly without traffic, and I'm also grateful to the guide for driving us back to the hotel. Great!

This trip happened to coincide with a Japanese holiday, and we encountered a lot of traffic congestion. However, our guide, Mr. Wu, informed us in advance of the itinerary arrangements & planned adjustments. Fortunately, it was just my family of four on this tour, and we were very pleased to be in a 9-seater Hiace. Our guide was also the driver, constantly making good time on the road. When we encountered traffic jams or red lights, he would introduce information about our destination. Mr. Wu really worked hard in multiple roles. Because of the holiday, the original strawberry picking location was unexpectedly full. However, Mr. Wu actively searched for another farm by phone, but nearby strawberry farms were also unexpectedly full or closed... We had no choice but to temporarily change our plans to Oshino Hakkai. However, about 10 minutes before arriving at Oshino Hakkai, we encountered a strawberry farm on the road. Although this farm was more expensive than originally planned, we felt that Mr. Wu had made an immediate adjustment to improve our itinerary. After picking strawberries, he continued to take us to Oshino Hakkai for a 20-minute stop before heading back. We encountered traffic jams on the way back as well, and Mr. Wu actively made good time. We arrived at Shinjuku Station about 30 minutes later than scheduled, but it was completely understandable. Finally, I would also like to thank Mr. Wu for his hard work. The whole day was unconsciously a trip of more than 10 hours. He was a guide and a driver, and he was active and reliable in multiple roles. I was hoping to take my parents to experience strawberry picking on this trip, and I was a little at a loss when I heard that it was full. However, I was very satisfied with Mr. Wu's handling of the situation. The success of this trip is all thanks to her. Thank you! 👍👍👍

we thougt it will be a big group，but it turns out getting a private car. Guide/Driver is very friendly throughout the tour.

The experience was wonderful! The itinerary was well‑paced and never felt rushed. We especially loved the strawberry‑picking activity, where we could pluck the fruits straight from the plants and enjoy them on the spot. Our guide, Zhao Yu, was warm, approachable, and accommodating to our requests (as long as they were reasonable).

Highlight of trip will be Mt Fuji. Although is ending season but the strawberry is nice and different varieties. The guide is friendly and nice.
