Reviews
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended! Our tour guide, Mandy, made the Mount Fuji day trip absolutely perfect! Today, I took the "Mount Fuji Panoramic Experience Day Tour" from Tokyo, and I was incredibly lucky to have Mandy as our guide! Throughout the entire trip, her professionalism and thoughtfulness made this Mount Fuji journey an excellent experience: Smooth Itinerary, Precise Time Management: The itinerary was packed with activities, and we visited popular photo spots like the Nichikawa Clock Shop and the viral convenience store along the way. Mandy managed the time perfectly, not only leading us to enjoy the special scenic train but also taking us to feed swans at Lake Yamanaka, and finally concluding with a delightful boat cruise on Lake Kawaguchiko. The pace was very comfortable, with no feeling of being rushed. Excellent Photo Assistant and Safety Guardian: When taking photos at the viral convenience store and Nichikawa Clock Shop, Mandy was incredibly patient, helping everyone capture stunning photos of Mount Fuji from the best angles. She also diligently reminded group members to be aware of traffic safety, which made everyone feel very secure. Thoughtful and Detailed Care: Whether it was feeding swans at Lake Yamanaka or the final boat cruise, she enthusiastically attended to the needs of every group member. Her explanations along the way were lively and interesting, and she shared many practical travel tips. Mandy's friendly smile and positive energy were infectious, making the entire day's journey incredibly relaxed and enjoyable for the whole group. Being able to see the breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji, combined with Mandy's top-notch service, truly made this trip an exceptional value! If I have the chance, I will definitely book another tour with her. I highly recommend her to everyone! 👍🗻✨
Lucky to have Yang as our tour guide for today, she did a wonderful job by walking thru the historic for every tourist stop we have. she kept the group entertained thru out the whole tour. she also kept the group organized and managed the times in proper manner in order for us to have sufficient free time for the group for every tourist stop we have. kudos to her again for the awesome job
This was a very fulfilling and memorable day trip. Although the journey started with a drizzle and then encountered snowflakes along the way, perhaps it was this change in weather that added a touch of romance and surprise to the entire trip. Fortunately, when we arrived at each attraction, the weather cleared up, making the scenery even more captivating. Our tour guide, Sakuragi, was impressive. He switched effortlessly between Chinese and English, and his explanations were professional and thoughtful. He eloquently described everything from the passing scenery to various lake cities across Japan, making the entire journey not just sightseeing, but a rich cultural experience. The scenic train ride was quite unique and distinctive. The only slight regret was that the clouds were thick that day, preventing us from seeing the full view of Mount Fuji. However, the mountain's silhouette, vaguely visible through the mist, added a poetic, hazy charm. When visiting Arakura Sengen Shrine, the Chureito Pagoda, a popular spot for influencers, was still a highlight. To reach the observation deck, one must climb over 400 steps, which certainly requires some physical effort. But upon reaching the top and overlooking the scenery, all the hard work felt worthwhile. The cable car experience was equally unforgettable; as we slowly ascended, the landscape unfolded before our eyes, broadening our spirits. Overall, this was a thoughtfully planned and rich one-day itinerary, well worth experiencing and reminiscing about. However, since most attractions require walking a certain distance after getting off the vehicle, and some even involve climbing stairs, elderly travelers or those with limited mobility might need to assess their physical condition before making arrangements.
2025/02/09 Scenery Along the Way Departing from downtown Tokyo, we could vaguely see the towering peak of Mount Fuji. As the bus approached Otsuki Station, the view of the summit became clearer and clearer until we passed through a series of mountains and finally saw the stunning scenery of Mount Fuji. We were very lucky, with not a single cloud in the entire sky and perfect weather. Tokyo had an unusually heavy snowfall the day before, and seeing the ground covered in snow and the sunlight shining around Mount Fuji today was truly worthwhile. This is my fourth time in Tokyo, and it's the first time I've seen such a magnificent sight that gave me goosebumps all over. Saves Time and Trouble Before planning this trip, I originally wanted to take the train slowly to Mount Fuji, but after evaluating the transportation costs and convenience, I found that a round-trip train ticket would cost about 1000 TWD (5000 JPY). This day trip not only included a tour guide but also a bus to the destination, so we didn't have to worry about not getting a seat on the train. I think this is a very worthwhile choice. Day Trip Tour Guide I signed up with a friend for the 2/9 tour, and our guide was Vera (Tomisan). Vera was waiting early at the meeting point next to Tokyo Station. She can communicate in Chinese, English, and Japanese. Although most of the people on the bus were Chinese, Vera introduced the attractions and reminded everyone of various matters in both languages since there were one or two groups of Europeans on the bus. She also took them into consideration when sharing the picture cards she had collected. Travel Transportation The bus driver's skills were quite good. I could feel that the speed was fast, but it didn't sacrifice comfort. The journey from Tokyo Station to the first stop, Shimo-Yoshida Station, only took about an hour and a half, which was much faster than I expected. However, the return trip may have been due to rush hour, and we encountered traffic jams one after another. We didn't return to Tokyo Station until just after 6:00, which was about half an hour later than originally planned, but this was an unavoidable factor, so it was expected. Overall Thoughts If I could give this trip a score out of 10, I would give it a 10 because you need to be lucky enough and have the right timing, location, and people to witness this miraculous beauty with Vera and everyone.
Our group was incredibly lucky to have clear views of Mount Fuji all day! Our tour guide, Mandy, was very attentive and patient. Even during Japan's Golden Week, with all the crowds and traffic, she professionally adjusted our itinerary so everyone could enjoy the trip! Her expert explanations, delivered flawlessly in both Chinese and English, ensured everyone had a fantastic day trip. As we left, she mentioned she intentionally didn't say "sayonara" because she believes we'll have the chance to meet again! She also welcomed tourists from all countries to contact her if they ever needed her help. She's an excellent guide!
Today, we had the pleasure of meeting an excellent and highly experienced tour guide, Yang Guifei! Her instructions were very clear, and she managed the time at each attraction perfectly, never rushing us. She constantly looked out for the group, proactively helped us take photos, and provided very detailed explanations of the sights. Her ability to speak English, Japanese, and Chinese is truly remarkable, so there was no need to worry about communication. We were so happy to have Yang Guifei accompany us in Japan, adding so much color to our Mount Fuji experience! We hope to have the opportunity to meet such an outstanding tour guide again in the future. Thank you for making our day wonderful!
Booking the tour online was very convenient. The tour guide contacted us via WhatsApp the day before departure, which was very thoughtful. On the way to our destination in the morning, we had a clear view of Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, the summit of Mount Fuji was already obscured by clouds, preventing us from seeing the entire mountain. Additionally, it's worth noting that this tour might not be suitable for elderly participants, as it requires climbing nearly 400 steps at the scenic spot to get a full frontal view of Mount Fuji.
2/3/2026 Amazing brand new one-day tour! Highly recommended to see the magnificent Mt. Fuji, so lucky! Saw all the popular Instagrammable spots. The itinerary is not rushed, with plenty of time to stop and take pictures & relax. Superb guide, J01! Knowledgeable, speaks calmly and slowly, enjoying the scenery without putting pressure on people, attentive and considerate. Back at the Tokyo meeting point, he even introduced free high-CP value spots near Tokyo Station and a supermarket with good value for money. Will definitely join Klook and Xiaoyu's tours again in the future!
Participated on 1/25, the tour guide Vera is very nice, switches between Chinese and English freely, and explains things very carefully! This trip is really great for people with elders (there is no forced shopping itinerary like those of outside travel agencies, which I think is super awesome). I recommend buying this itinerary for independent travel in Tokyo. The time management is also very punctual. The stopover time at the attractions around the Mount Fuji area is very moderate and does not make people feel rushed or hurried. The overall travel experience is good! A small suggestion is that you can choose either the ropeway or the cruise, so the itinerary will not be so rushed.
Our tour guide, Xiaoyu, was truly outstanding! His fluency in both English and Mandarin made communication effortless. Throughout the entire trip, he provided detailed explanations and carefully reminded us of various precautions on the way to Lake Kawaguchi to see Mount Fuji. Tour guide Xiaoyu was also very patient in helping us find the best photo spots, allowing us to capture beautiful pictures. Furthermore, his understanding of Japan was quite profound, and his explanations along the way were very clear. Overall, this trip became exceptionally memorable thanks to their professionalism and dedication!
Good to know
One day before departure, between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM, you will receive information about the tour guide and vehicle in your email (it may go to the spam folder), so please be sure to check it promptly and keep your communication channels open. There may be slight delays during peak season. If you receive multiple emails, please refer to the latest one.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be notified of cancellation by email one day before departure. In the event of extreme weather conditions such as typhoons or blizzards, you will be notified by email whether the trip is canceled by 6:00 PM local time the day before departure.
Seats and Vehicles
The itinerary is a group tour, and seat allocation follows the first-come, first-served principle. If you have special needs, please make a note, and we will do our best to arrange it, but the final arrangement will be subject to the actual situation on site. The type of vehicle used depends on the number of people, and you cannot specify the type of vehicle. When there are few people, a driver may be arranged to also serve as an on-board attendant, and the explanation content will be simpler. If you need to bring luggage, you must inform us in advance. If you bring luggage without authorization, the tour guide has the right to refuse boarding and the fee will not be refunded. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the car, and if damage is caused, compensation will be required according to local standards.
Itinerary Adjustment and Safety
Japanese law stipulates that operating vehicles must not be driven for more than 10 hours per day. If the time is exceeded, additional fees will be incurred (ranging from ¥5,000 to ¥10,000 per hour). The itinerary is for reference only, and the actual traffic, stop, and tour times may be adjusted due to weather, traffic jams, facility maintenance, etc. The tour guide may reasonably replace or reduce attractions depending on the actual situation. In the event of weather or force majeure that causes the suspension of cable cars, cruise ships, and other facilities, you will be taken to other attractions or the duration of your stay will be adjusted. No refunds will be given for lateness due to personal reasons, temporary changes to the meeting point, or leaving the group midway. You will be responsible for any accidents and additional expenses incurred after leaving the group.
Season and Landscape
The visibility of Mount Fuji is greatly affected by the weather, especially in summer when the visibility is low. It is recommended to confirm the weather information before booking. Seasonal limited activities such as flower viewing, autumn foliage viewing, snow scenery, and fireworks festivals are greatly affected by the climate, and the flowering period and peak of autumn leaves may be earlier or later. Even if the expected landscape is not reached, the itinerary will still depart normally and no refunds will be given.
Other Information
Please arrive at the meeting point on time, as we will not wait for those who are late, and you cannot join midway. It is recommended to wear light clothing and shoes. Please bring warm clothing for winter or mountain itineraries.
* The itinerary does not include personal travel and accident insurance, so it is recommended to purchase your own insurance. Outdoor activities and high-risk sports have certain risks, so please register cautiously based on your health condition.
* After the itinerary departs, if it is forced to be suspended due to natural disasters or force majeure, no refunds will be given, and passengers will still need to bear the return or additional accommodation costs themselves.
* During peak travel periods on Japanese red days and weekends, there are often serious traffic jams or attractions close early, so it is recommended not to book flights, bullet trains, or dinners for that evening, and to bring your own snacks and power banks.
